If you’re bit, pray for your very life..
Welcome to our fifth issue of “Kasey’s Power Asylum” and this next ability will cover something a little more terrifying than what you may believe.
When something bites, there are various effects. Like when a cobra or a rattlesnake bites you, it pumps venom into your blood. When a tiger or a dinosaur bites, it punctures the skin and tears the flesh.
But when it comes to a few animals, their biting effects are completely opposite than the following. This is the case for some species of large, mid-sized lizards that includes the Komodo dragon and monitor lizards.
When they bite, they release something that is even more crippling than venom and torn flesh. They leave something very deadly and more devastating.
In Kasey’s case, he calls it “Bacterial Infection”.
It’s an ability that causes the victim to deal with a painful and devastating infection- depending on how long the opponent has been bitten and how deep the wound is.
If the wound isn’t treated, the victim slowly grows weak and perishes.
Because of this, Kasey considers this ability to be very dangerous and that it can only be used as a trump card or used only for emergency situations.
While this is the case, casting the ability isn’t really so awful.
Along with being able to control how much dose of venom can be used, Kasey can do the same with this ability. However, it is performed differently.
Unlike venom, Bacterial Infection can be controlled in two ways: The first is that it depends on how long Kasey bites its victim. The second is how deep the bite wound is. If for example he bites a person for a minute, than by the time he lets the person go the wound will be too deep and the infection process had already begun.
However, Kasey continues to train in using this ability. He has so far come to some rational conclusions but is still in constant training as of today.
Just how did this ability came to be?
The truth was that it came for when Kasey trained himself as a Komodo dragon. He was on the verge of beating an opponent when he opened his mouth and accidentally bit the opponent on the left arm. He bit the arm for a good moment until it let out a painful scream to at which its whole arm stared being infected.
After that moment, Kasey continued living in fear of using the Komodo dragon as one of his transformations. Realizing he couldn’t live in fear anymore he trained himself even more until he was able to gain his confidence back and used the transformation for his bidding. He would however only bite in case if the situation needed it.
Not considered a special type of ability, the cause of the infections comes from the saliva within the lizard’s mouth.
The next time you witness Kasey as a Komodo dragon or a species of monitor lizard, be on your guard at all times. Cause you may never know when the infections will effect you next.
