Biography:

Shino is one of the more mysterious members of the original “Konoha 11” genins. From the outside, Shino appears very quiet and emotionless. He speaks bluntly and logically, and his actions also reflect these characteristics. Although these traits may sometimes cause people to see him as “cold” or “creepy”, Shino’s teammates, Hinata and Kiba, know him as a strong individual who cares for the wellbeing of his friends and prefers to solve conflicts non-violently. Shino is highly intelligent and remains calm even in the midst of battle. Like Shikamaru, he is a gifted strategist and stays several steps ahead of his enemy in order to control the battle.
As a member of Konoha’s Aburame clan, Shino’s body has been specially infused with Kikaichu
Bugs (Destruction Bugs) that literally use his body as their nest. The Aburame clan are famously known for their symbiosis with insects and their ability to use them in combat. The Kikaichu Bugs are especially interesting in that they consume the chakra of the enemy and effectively incapacitate the enemy. They are directly under the control of their host, and in return they survive on the host’s chakra when not in combat.

Abilities and Jutsus:
Kikaichu Bug Host (Bloodline)
From birth, Shino's body was infused with the special Kikaichu Bugs. In return for using his body as a nest and surviving on his chakra, Shino has direct control of the bugs in combat.

Female Kikaichu Bug (Insect)
The female Kikaichu Bug is used by Shino to track his enemies. The scent it emits is nearly odorless but every Kikaichu Bug can detect it and will swarm towards it. By placing a female bug on someone, Shino can locate the person over extended distances.
Bug Wall (Ninjutsu)
The Kikaichu Bugs are used released from the arms to form a physical wall or shield to protect the user from physical attacks.
Bug Jar (Ninjutsu)
The Bug Jar technique uses the Kukaichu Bugs to form a large defensive dome around the user by flying at high speeds. The dome is strong enough to destory incoming attacks.

Kikaichu Bug (Insect) (Weapon)
Kikaichu Bugs or Destruction Bugs are black beetle-like insects that live in large colonies. They survive by consuming chakra and are able to use the bodies of those of the Aburame clan as nests. When ordered by their human host, the bugs can be used in offensive and defensive jutsus.
Bug Clone (Ninjutsu)
Shino can make physical clones of himself comprised of his Kikaichu Bugs. The bugs will loose his form and disperse if the clone is attacked by the enemy.
Bug Summoning (Ninjutsu)
This technique does not summon a creature loyal to the user, but actually gathers insects in the surrounding area using a web-array made from chakra.

Biography:
Hinata is the daughter of Hiashi Hyuga, the leader of the main branch in the Hyuga clan. She is the successor to the clan, but her father had at one time believed her to be a failure and turned his efforts to training her sister, Hanabi, instead. Hinata is timid and lacks confidence in herself. These traits hampered her advancement as a genin, but Hinata continued to try to improve herself. Hinata has had a crush on Naruto ever since their days at the Ninja Academy, but has never had the courage to confess to him. However, it is Naruto ‘s determination and confidence which have inspired. Her attempts to change herself are not only for self-improvement, but are also an effort to impress Naruto.
Because of Naruto’s encouragement, Hinata was able to confront her cousin, Neji Hyuga, during the Chunin exam battles. Neji, at the time, bared a grudge against the main branch family and was far superior in skill compared to Hinata. Even so, Hinata persevered in the battle even though she received serious injuries and had no chance of winning. Even though she lost, it was a turning point for Hinata as afterwards she began to gain more confidence in herself and also improve her skills.
Abilities and Jutsus:
Byakugan (Bloodline)
'White Eye' is a bloodline limit ability possessed by all descendants of the Hyuga clan. It gives Hinata a near 360 degree field of vision around her, allowing her to notice acute movements, sense chakra, and even see through walls.

Guardian Eight Trigrams: Sixty-Four Palms (Taijutsu)
This technique is used by Hinata during the Bikochu anime filler arc. It is Hinata's version of the original Sixty-Four Palms jutsu. By using rapid arm movements and precise chakra control, Hinata creates a spherical grid of chakra that can be used for both defense and offense.
Eight Trigrams: One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms(Taijutsu)

Gentle Fist (Taijutsu)
Gentle Fist is a taijutsu style that aims to damage an opponent's chakra circulatory system, rather than cause external injuries. Each attack injects the user's chakra into the opponent in order to disrupt their chakra flow. It is best used with the Byakugan which allows the user to see an opponent's chakra nodes.

Juho Soshiken (Taijutsu)
A new technique Hinata developed or learned in part 2. The jutsu creates two chakra clouds underneath her palms in the shape of lion heads. Hinata was first seen using this technique against God Realm Pein, but was defeated before unleashing its power.

Biography:
Kurenai Yuhi is a Jonin rank shinobi of Konoha and is the team leader of Team 8 consisting of Shino Aburame, Hinata Hyuga, Kiba Inuzuka, and herself. Kurenai was a Ninja Academy instructor for many years prior to becoming a Jonin. She prefers to use a supportive approach in training the Genins under her care. Kurenai is especially supportive of Hinata’s development after witnessing how she was looked down upon by her father, Hiashi Hyuga, at the beginning of the series. Kurenai not only guided Hinata in her development as a shinobi but also gave her encouragement with regard to her crush on Naruto Uzumaki.

Although the two always denied the fact, Kurenai and Asuma Sarutobihad a very close relationship since the beginning of the series. It's no coincidence that the two were always seen together whenever they were not on missions. In Naruto part II, the revelation that Kurenai was pregnant with Asuma's baby proved the extent of their relationship. Sadly, Asuma died in the line of action while fighting Hidenof Akatsuki. After revenging Asuma, Shikamaru Nara pledged to Kurenai that he will always be there to protect the child.
Kurenai is highly intelligent and this makes her a natural genjutsu user. Although she has not been seen in combat much in the series, the jutsus which she has performed are primarily genjutsu. Her Demonic Illusion: Tree Bind Death is a particularly high level genjutsu, even for a Jonin. Unfortunately, even such a high calibre technique proved ineffective against the infamous Itachi Uchiha. According to the anime filler Kurama Clan arc, prior to the her command of Team 8, Kurenai was a special tutor for Yakumo Kurama. Yakumo possessed a powerful genjutsu ability, but on the order of the Thrid Hokage, Kurenai sealed away Yakumo’s powers.

Abilities and Jutsus:

Demonic Illusion: Tree Bind Death (Genjutsu)
A powerful illusionary technique where Kurenai first hides her presence from the enemy. Sneaking to their rear, she then binds them using an illusionary tree technique and emerges to deal the lethal strike once they are bound and immobile.
