But she wasn't "really" cheating, unless you count the director's wife. She's not "actually" with Robert Pattinson, their entire "relationship" is a publicity stunt to keep the twihards unstably sane until Twilight finally ends. Which would sell better, the actors of the overrated franchise being "together" and "omg<333 rpatz and kstew 5ever<3~~ cuz its just liek bella and edward!!11!<3" or them actually admitting that they really just value each other as close friends? A mystery, that.

But to answer the question; people make mistakes. No one person doesn't and to act as judges and scorn other people for their mistakes would just be insufferably hypocritical. It's not the mistake, it's what you do after you've made it that defines your character.

This happened back when they were filming SWATH. She did cheat because she apoligized. She said it was her biggest mistake and said sorry to EVERYONE she hurt. Rob forgave her and they still love eachother. Now let move on from August 2011 news.

@cassie-1-2-3 I totally agree. Kristen has nothing to do with the making of Twilight. She's given a script and told to act in it. She didn't write Twilight or the script. She's just an actress. I don't like Twilight but I think Kristen is awesome. At least I can say that without Twilight she wouldn't have The Runaways (which is one of my favorite movies).

I'm split in the middle at the moment... I understand people make mistakes, but when you've been happy with someone as long as she has been with Rob you just don't cheat like that... I believe the pictures are real, but I don't believe it went beyond kissing or at least I hope not... I love her as an actress just not as a person at the moment... Kristen used to be awesome to me,i thought she was a really cool celeb and a great actress at times.
Now,what is she teaching me? To cheat on othwrs? That its ok to be unfaithful to your spouse?
And the director was a married man,what is she trying to do,make the director file for divorce and go be with her?
Did she think what that might do to his kids? How would they feel,knowing that their father had cheated on their mother,to go be with an actress,who was already possibly getting married herself? And poor robert,he was such a gentlemen,he wanted only the best for her,they had a pet and cared for it together,all the good times they had together,and not only breaking his heart,but practically throwing it all away? Is that what she wanted to accomplish? The picture wasnt photoshoped. Is there a better reason for Kristen's public apology to Robert than this? And people are really making a huge fuss about this. They didn't sleep together or anything, it was just a kiss, a mistake she made but understood. We all make mistakes, but for some reason when a celebrity does this its the greatest of all sins.

Anyways i will always love her no matter what. Because kristen always comes clean eventually, sooner or later, and ill always have hope and faith in her.
