Lee DeWyze and Crystal Bowersox; a mother from Ohio and a paint salesman from Chicago. They both auditioned in Chicago, were both hyped up to win Idol, both made it into the Finale, both are superstars already and both are great, genuine people. They became so close during the process of American Idol, their friendship blossomed with every passing day and their love grew bigger too.

1. Lee’s birthday is on 2nd April 1986. He was born to Lee DeWyze Sr. who worked as a postal carrier and Kathleen DeWyze, a worker in radiology transcription at a community hospital. He has two sisters and a brother. He would call up his family before every performance.
