Legend of the Seeker
answer this question
Legend of the Seeker Question
How was anyone surprised???
Alright so i finally decided to give "legend of the seeker" a chance, Growing up my mother owned a book store so i read a lot and honestly more times the book is murdered.
But i finally gave in watched one episode and turned it off, Removed it from my history and bookmarks.
You want to know why? Anyone wondering why the "Legend of the seeker" show didn't pan out this is why. They didn't even leave BASIC very very BASIC details in the show.
-Richard is supposed to be the keeper of the book of counted shadows, His father was killed before the book even started (if i recall around 6 weeks)
-Richard is taller and larger then most men, Kahlan is a fairly tall women almost at his height.
-The men who came to kill Richard were all blond (yeah that's right, Every one of them is supposed to be blond. Couldn't even bother finding 4 cut out blond actors?)
I could go on and on and on. The point is, The show isn't ANYTHING like the book. They just stole the setting and any fan of the book probably did something similar to what i did. Tuned it off at the first episode.
TDLR: Show/Movie makers please try reading the book you're adapting into a show/movie. You may find you get many more viewers. Such as every fan the books had.
