I opened my heavy eyes slowly. I looked up and saw the worried faces of my friends. They were smiling.
“Wh-what happened?” I asked, extremely confused.
“Dojo-Snakes. You- well you kinda fell off the tree fortress and then it fell on you…” Cole kinda hesitated on the last part.
“…Wh-How did I survive?” The ninja glanced nervously at each other.
“Er, well, you kinda, well, didn’t…”
“Urm… That makes NO SENSE AT ALL!”
“Well, we found some healing elixir…”
I picked up her lifeless body. I knew I would have to take her to the dojo. I began the long walk home. What are the others gonna think? Will they blame me? I kept trying to block these questions from my head. About a hour later, I made it to the dojo. Or rather what was left of the dojo. The other ninja, other then Zane, sat around a fire. I fought back tears as I walked towards them. Jay looked over at me. He waved. I wordlessy walked over and layed Carisa on the ground next to Kai.
I stared at my brother in shock. I knew what what happened to him, but I never saw any snakes near him.
"He has been hypnotized!" I warned the others.
"Jay, try shocking him out of it!" Kai told Jay.
""Gaah. Sorry Cole, this is gonna hurt you a lot more then it's gonna hurt me." With that, Jay shot lightning from his nunchuks. Cole fell, eyes closed. He then shook his head. His eyes opened, and they were still red. He was even angrier, and flew at Jay. They collided, and Jay flew off the edge. We all shouted his name, and Carisa ran to the edge. She...
It has been a week since Lloyd released the Serpintine. The ninja and I were training. Just then, the bell rang. It sounded like a gong. "Mail!" Shouted Cole. The ninja ran to the door. Zane stayed put. The ninja came back.
"Hey Zane? How come you never get any mail?" Kai asked him.
"I have no family. I have been a orphan all my life." He responded. I was shocked.
"M-me to." I studdered. Now it was Zane's turn to looked shocked. The other ninja were surprised as well. " Honestly, I woke up the day Sensei found me." I told them.
I wrapped cold bandages around Kai. I felt awful. I was the ninja of water, and I can't even tap into my powers. I could have saved him from the pain. Kai stirred. I was surprised. The incident had happened a hour earlier, and I was replacing his bandages. His eyes slowly opened. He did not speak, only looked around. He looked at me. "Hi, Kai" I said. He looked like he wanted to talk, but he passed out again. I finished tending to him, and went to join the others. They were training.
I could hear the other ninja's shouts. I tried to ignore them. I was training. They were playing a video game. You see, they had all learned spinjitzu, but I have not. I am Carisa, ninja of water. I do not know of my family, nor where I come from. I some times wonder, what is it that prevents me from doing spinjitzu? The other ninja have grown lazy. It has been a year since the incident with Samukai. Sunddenly, the ninja's shouts became those of true annoyance. Suddenly, I sensed there was danger in Jamaikai village. I ran to the games room, were the ninja were running...
My head pounded. Carisa's head had most likely collided with mine, as she now was asleep in my arms. "Now what?" Kai asked.
'' I will carry her. It would be to dangerous to leave her here." Kai began to run off.
"Come on!" He shouted.
"Do you even know where we need to go?" Cole asked. Kai stopped in his tracks.
"Er, no." He answered. Cole pointed to where we were to go. Kai nodded, and began to run in the right direction. We followed. Carisa stirred.
I was upset. Zane's words meant our friends were gone. Just then, the huge doors to the temple opened. There stood Kai, a girl, and Carisa. Carisa was on the back of, "Dragon!" I shouted, and hid behind a post.
" Our father used to tell us storys about the dragons. They are mystical creatures that belong to both worlds." The girl said. I guessed she was Nya.
"Once he realized we were protecting the weapon, he actually became quite a softy." Kai told us. Jay tried to talk, but only rough noises came out of his mouth.
I Woke up, for the one hundredth time that night. I looked around. I was surprised. What I saw was Kai, running off. Suddenly I sensed it was a trap. I got up and ran after him. "Kai, Its a trap!" I shouted. He payed no attention. I saw him chasing after the girl from the shop. I knew it was Nya. Kai had described her to the rest of us. He should know, if was really Nya, she wouldn't be running. I ran faster. Kai chased Nya into what I presume was the fire temple. We stood on a rock, suronded by lava.
