Updates
It's June. Finally. The lucky ones, myself included, have already been "freed" from school, but to those of you who haven't, hang in there, it'll come!
Jess' birthday is tomorrow, I think. Yeah? Am I right? We all gotta remember to wish her a happy birthday!
And seeing as it is the 3rd of June, you guys have 3 days time to prepare to wish Celine happy birthday. And please remember to do so! For both! And as for me, you have 7 days left. Though, mind you, there's really no use in giving me birthday wishes until like the 13th, when I get back from Greece, but whatever you feel like doing.. But seriously, who doesn't like birthday wishes?
Speaking of, you might have all noticed the rushy feeling of the picks concerning this article. And the reason for that is, of course, me leaving to Greece in like two days. I'm leaving on Tuesday, and I won't be able to come online for over a week, so I'm gonna have to skip next week's article. But when I get back, it's back on again! Same goes for the LF icon contest. Weell, almost the same. The 16th round will stay open until I get back. So, no rush with that one.
I was looking through the latest LF picks and all, and woah. You've really gone all out with these character/couple picks, haven't you, LFers? Well, I participated in it, too. What the hell. It's all for fun. But anyway, I wasn't quite able to find anything that news-worthy from between the picks this week, but picks are always cool.
I think it's time to show our support to the girlies who are having a rough time again! I was just reading the wallposts on the LF, and there have been some dramatic stuff happening. I'm not gonna repeat any of it now, though, because I think that'd be a bit tacky of me.
Anyway, "the bitch is back". Who does that sentence remind you of? A TV HBIC, perhaps? Like Brooke Davis, Blair Waldorf, Katherine Pierce? Close. This time it's our Ale. She's back, and we're all very happy to have her back!
The spot look has changed once again. But not because of a new spot look created by us, no, but because of fanpop itself. The motto that used to be above the banner (right?) is now under it in it's own box. Interesting. I did prefer it as it was, but maybe that's just me thinking.
Oh, look at that. I took time to complain about not being able to finish the picks as fast as I wanted to. Great. I wanted to apologise about that. But trust me, I wouldn't have delayed the picks if I really hadn't been busy with stuff. I was. I am, but not that much anymore. Nevertheless, I'm sorry!
Elle has taken out her pen and paper -- No, hold on. Did I get this wrong? Ah, I believe she used this magical machine, with what you can write stuff and then post them on magical places in the mysterious place called the internet.
So, yeah, Elle wrote a story. About One Direction. Interesting. She promised in the wallpost that we'd all pop up in the story, along with Celine, the main character. Well, can't wait!
Not much else to say, except that the spot look is about to change. Go vote for the theme you want next as the spot look! RL-relationships seems to be winning at the moment.

Now time for a test. Oh yes, once again made by me, I'm afraid.

a) Avoid it. The thing about trouble and the past always coming back to haunt you is a myth.

c) I'm a very private person. I don't share, I don't want to, and I don't feel the need to get into anybody elses business, either.
d) I'm not all that private at all. So what if people know stuff about me? It's not like I have anything to hide.

a) A few exciting events here and there keep life interesting. But withing reason.

Okay, guys... Bad news. No quiz this week. Because I forgot to send out the email. No excuse. I was just busy and forgot. I'm not getting sloppy, I'm not, but this last week of school has just been really hectic. But next time, I promise.

"Art"
I decided, simply for fun, to every week choose one of the girls to make a picture of on photoshop using the three actresses who I think would be the best to portray her. It's nothing big, and the images aren't that impressive, but as I said, it's for fun.
I chose Elle to begin with, because when I thought of the actresses for the girls, these three came to mind right away for Elle. Next week, well, when I get back, I'll do the same with someone else. And yeah, I think that Rachel Bilson, Lea Michele and Sophia Bush are the three actresses that would portray Elle the best in a movie or in a TV-show :) You guys agree?
Profile of the week
Now it's time for the profile of the week. So far I've done Elle, Celine, Laura and Holly. For this week I chose Moosh!
So, Moosh (mooshka) is the creator of this spot. I'm sure other girls of the LF were involved with the idea of this spot, (I wasn't here back then) but I do feel like Moosh is always connected to the fact that she created this spot. I'm sure I'm not mistaken when I say that everyone on the spot knows Moosh, and that everyone likes her. I've always kind of seen Moosh like as a.. a person who people can easily come talk to when they've just joined the spot and don't quite fit in yet. She's so welcoming, open and simply easy to talk to.
I think I'm pretty close to Moosh. She's one of my best friends on the LF, and she has been my friend ever since I first joined. She was one of the first people to wallpost me and welcome me properly. I remember how that really helped me and made me feel like I was actually wanted on the spot, which, as you surely know by now, is not something that comes naturally for me.
Moosh and I, along with Kir and Angi, formed this sort of group called the Awkward Turtles (the name created by Moosh XD). It's not really a.. well, there's no hidden agenda for the group or anything, it's just fun.
Moosh is a really honest person. She doesn't let anyone bounce her around and she's a really strong personality. And that's so admirable. I think she's really the leader type, if I'd have to plant a label.
Moosh's unicorn is Angi. Maybe you understand that sentence, maybe you don't. But Angi and Moosh are really close, and it's known all over the LF. They are the dragon and the unicorn. Why? I don't know the whole story, but I can guess that partly the reason for those roles is because Moosh loves dragons and Angi unicorns. Oh, and they're also Karen and Gretchen. From Mean Girls. Seen that movie? I have. Wasn't my piece of cake. Anyway, yeah. Karen and Gretchen and the Unicorn and the Dragon. That's Angi and Moosh.
Moosh is usually quite active on the LF spot, and she's very much known for her fun picks that usually include the whole LF family, which is really cool. She is also hosting two song contests. The one where she says a topic, like "a song that brings back a memory", and you tell the song that fits the theme for you, and the contest, my favorite one, where you nominate a song that fits an LF girl. She always picks a different one for each round. Round 2 is going on, with Celine. I see that the contest is kind of stuck at the moment. Go on and nominate! I like this game! It has to go on.
Also she created the twin/triplets day forum post. That was a great idea, I think.
And the spot makeover forum is also created by her, and I think that's a very important forum post concerning this whole spot. We all like spot look changes, don't we?
the Couple elimination game, this or that - game, LPF awards, Leyton Family Friendship Survey and top three. All forum posts by her. Wow. Moosh has done so much for this spot, and she always manages to keep the spot together. She really deserves credit for that!
Moosh has 7 medals, 3 dedicated and 4 die-hards. I'm gonna list the die-hards! Ookay.. One Tree Hill, Leyton Family <3 (yayy), Leyton and Leyton vs Brucas. Not unexpected! Moosh has always shown great interest for OTH, and especially Leyton. Good job on the medals, Moosh!
When I think of Moosh, I often connect her to Leyton, Jess Mariano, Hilarie Burton, Dan&Blair and Milo Ventimiglia. Of course she loves other things, too, but those always come to my mind first. And lately Ryan&Marissa and Zayn Malik have also been added to the list, due to her new love for both. So.. awesome!
Now, who would you ship with Moosh? I think that the biggest contestants are Milo Ventimiglia and Zayn Malik, but I think I'll add Ben McKenzie, who plays Ryan Atwood in the O.C. Well, who do you ship with her?
Overall, Moosh is really a great friends, caring and strong. I think we're all incredibly happy to have her as a part of the spot.

Well, time to wrap this up with announcing the winners of the picks.
The character of the week: Peyton Sawyer from One Tree Hill. Not a surprise there, no, not at all. And what's wrong with that? Peyton's great, she's highly loved on the LF. Awesome. Congrats, P. Sawyer!
Icon of the week: Laura! Her icon features, once again, our very own Peyton Sawyer. It's a quite beautiful icon, and I think it's awesome it won. Congrats, Robin! <3
