Inès extricated herself from her foggy thoughts about Daario when Rachel knocked at the door.
"Hey,are you okay ?" Rachel asked.
"Yes,I'm just a bit tired. Have you talked to Robb today ?"
"I haven't seen him,actually. He was already gone when I woke up. Which is not a good thing,I suppose." Rachel sighed.
"Men are men Rach,don't worry about that. They always avoid the first confrontation. When you will see him,he's going to act awkwardly,he won't know what to say,and he's probably going to talk about how shiny the sun is today !" Inès said in amusement.
"Yeah,maybe..."
"Believe me. Time needs time. By the way,Daario sent a raven to Daenerys. We just have to wait for her reply."
"Good." Rachel said.
"I'm probably going to buy some things for the trip, do you want to come with me ?"
"I think I'm going to stay here,if you don't mind."
"Sure." Inès smiled,and left the room.

Rachel crossed the hall,and reached the second floor. She went to the balcony,from where she could contemplate the whole city of Meereen. "What a beautiful city" she thought. For a moment,she thought she could settle here. It could become her home after a time of adaptation. But it wasn't home.It was the difference between Rachel and Inès. It was easy for Inès to settle in a city and to leave it. She had left her birth place when she was only 3 months and she had crossed so many areas,that home was everywhere for her. But Rachel was different. Of course,she loved travelling and exploring new lands,but she also loved returning to King's Landing,with her family.
As she was admiring Meereen's beauty,she caught sight of Inès and Daario walking through the cobble streets. She suddenly felt a presence behind her. "Please,not Robb,not Robb." she thought. She was actually stressed out to be in front of him after the night they had spent.

"Hey." Robb said.
Rachel turned round.
"Hey." she said with a small smile.
"What a... what a beautiful sunny day" Robb gabbled.
Rachel laughed a little.
"Listen...I... I'm sorry about last night." Robb added.
"What ? You...you regret it ?" Rachel inquired.
"No ! No ! Of course not. I just want to apologize for the way I left this morning. It was silly and disrespectful."
"Oh,okay. No worries. It's fine." Rachel conclued. She didn't want to talk more about that. The situation was awkward enough.
"So...Inès agreed to come with us for a little while. We just have to wait for her sister's reply,and we will be able to leave." Rachel announced.
"Okay,great. It's great." Robb said.
Rachel could see that he was ill at ease,and she was too. She knew that he didn't know what to say else,so she decided to break the silence,and end this weird moment.
"Inès went to buy things for the trip,with Daario.
I'm going to join them if you don't mind."
"Yeah,sure. No problem."
Rachel smiled,and left the balcony.

When she arrived in the city,she took a deep breath. The meeting with Robb had been strange, and she was confused about everything. She decided to join Inès and Daario later. She wanted to wander a bit,and discover Meereen without masters and slaves everywhere.
As she was walking,some people recognized her. An old woman told her how Inès had freed the city.
"Where did the queen send the masters ?" Rachel asked
"To Hell." the woman replied.
"To Hell ? You mean..."
"She slaughtered them. The queen ordered to nail all the masters at the crosses at the entry of Meereen."
"Oh,okay...Thank you. Have a nice day."
Rachel didn't know Inès was able to kill. She knew that her friend was adventurous and bold,but she didn't know she was ready to kill people to free a city...or to become the ruler of this city.

"Rach,we're here !" Inès burst out.
Rachel saw her friend in the crowd of the market.
It was full of people,but also full of sents. A ballet of ginger,coriander,nutmeg,paprika,cocoa,lily,rose and orchid. And the colors ! Rachel took a moment to enjoy all this diversity. Inès and Daario joined her.
"We were about to come back home." Inès said.
"Okay,I'm coming with you." Rachel replied.

When they arrived,Missandeï,Inès' maid, told them that Daenerys had replied.
Inès read the note.
"She will be here tomorrow,with Viserys."
"Amazing !" Robb appeared and gave a quick look at Rachel."Is he going to surprise me and arrive from nowhere all the time ?" she thought.
"Yes,we will be able to leave just after she arrives." Inès said.

Dinner time arrived. Robb didn't talk much. A feeling of discomfort was floating over the table.
As Inès was opening her mouth,Robb declared :
"If I may,I have things to settle and organize for the leaving."
Rachel and Inès exchanged a look.
"Sure. Daario,will you help him please ?" Inès said.
"Of course,my queen."
On these words,Robb and Daario left the table.

"So,did you talk ?" Inès asked Rachel.
"Sort of. He told me he was sorry for having left without a word this morning. It was kinda awkward"
"But it's a good start."
"Yeah,I suppose. But he's been really distant. I don't know what to think."
"Don't think. Let things happen naturally. You're both confused right now. Time needs time, remember ?" Inès reassured her friend.
"Time needs time,I know." Rachel sighed.
"Okay,now I think we should go to sleep. I think Daenerys will arrive early tomorrow."

After saying goodnight,the girls came to their respective rooms.
Inès had a hard time finding sleep,thinking about the trip she was going to share with her friend,and Daario.
Rachel had a hard time finding sleep, too. Robb's distance towards her today was something new. And she realised that it was hurting. Feelings are always hurting.
