Okay what would you do or say to the Avengers and Fury if they asked you to join them? I would first start out with this glare...

if the avengers were to ask me to join their team, yes i would start with such an intense glare, but hang on a moment, if one wanted to be as clever as loki, then one would stop and consider the proposal for a few moments. long enough to weigh all options and but not so long that the avengers would get annoyed. then one would give them a very cheerful smile and tell them i would be more then happy to join their team. veiwing this as a as yet unpublished novelist, the best strategy to use for destroying the avengers would be join their ranks and work from the inside out. this would be taken from the villains pov.

Funny.. I just had a dream about that.. I would do exactly the same thing I did in the dream, so I might as well describe it.
I was walking down the corridors of the S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ. I walked into a room and found Nick Fury.
Nick: I see you got my message. I want you to join the Avengers.
Me: What? Don't you know I am helping Loki to take over the world?
Nick: Well yes, but I want you on the team.
Me: NO! NEVER! I WOULD NEVER JOIN THE AVENGERS!
Nick: But, (He got cut off as I teleported out of there.)
I wonder how he would react after that event..

Accept, play excited and nervous who plays calm, join, pretend to be rowing cautious, gain their trust, approach Loki, (really really cautious), offer to join him, and do so without letting my excitement about it lead me into a bad deal, and then help Loki defeat them ^_^ (of course I would arrange some things with Loki first) Because there were some things in his plans that ruined the rest of his genius arrangements, he could do with an assistant ;)

I'd say no even if I hated Loki.
I'd probably pull them down rather than boost them up anyways, I'm a terrible runner.

I would join them, gain their trust and then deliver them to Loki so that we can take over the world without distractions. This would happen after I fangirl and try to jump all of them, except Hulk and Black Widow.
