It really makes no sense, alcohol is much more destructive to ones body! Marijuana is a natural healing tool! We should take advantage of that!!

Actually marijuana was first made illegal during the temperance movement and the main cause of that was because people convinced other people that african american men were luring young white women into clubs, bars and brothels with marijuana and ravaging their bodies (to put it politely). In reality it was just a bunch of pointless propaganda, and now it's just illegal because there's still a bunch of propaganda and they can't tax it.
