Here are some new and old items that should be in the game and the place you would get it.
* Fire Flower (Limit: 10 sec.)5-7
* Super Leaf 1-6
* Banana 1-3
* Blooper 5-8
* Boomerang Flower - use the wii controler to flick a boomerang at the people in front or behind you (Time Limit: 10 seconds) 8-10
* Boo 7-10
* Bob-bomb 4-6
* Bullet Bill 8-10
* Ice Flower (same thing as fire flower but freezes people for 3 seconds. Limit: 10 sec.) 7-9
* Green Shell 1-4
* Gold Shell (gives you speed. After ten seconds it explodes.) 7-10
* Golden Mushroom 9-11
* Red Shell 2-4
* P-Wing (takes you straight to second place) 10-12
* Rock Mushroom (like SMG2) 10-12
* Mushroom 1-6
* Spiny Shell 8-10
* Star 9-11
