I hope you enjoy this songfic. I wrote the song myself, and the only thing I own is the song, and the story. Don't forget to comment!

Marlene stared into the darkness, her eyes on the verge of tears. She blamed herself, and could only pray that this was a dream.

I still remember that day
I still remember your face
When all I had was gone
You came to me so strong, so strong

All the memories were still fresh in her mind. The sewer, the walks, the dates.....the wedding. She felt like her heart had been twisted and torn apart. Why? Why did he have to leave her?

My life,
My love,
My story
Your my pride and glory, and my joy, baby

With all her frustration, she let out a bloodcurdling, full blast scream. Marlene hoping, praying.... and remembering that he would come at second's notice.... but knew he never would.

Marlene had never seen his feathers so shiny and, well, just beautiful....it filled her with indescribable feelings at the very look at him. She heard him say, meanwhile turning away, so he couldn't see the big blush on her face. "Yea-yea I'm fine, just....fine! Why wouldn't I be?" said Marlene, trying to hide the blush that creeped up on her face once again. Skipper just smiled as he wrapped his flipper around her shoulder, knowing this would drive her crazy. She grew tense, feeling his flipper around her. "So, I gave the boys the day off, what do you want to do, Marlene?" said Skipper, a bit nervously, but managing to hide it. "Oh,...

This is actually a skilene story,(obviously!), and for some reason it got posted here! But that's alright, Marlene needs a few articles added to her club! Again, I DON'T OWN ANYTHING EXCEPT THE STORY! Please comment and enjoy the story!

[Early in the morning, two hours after Marlene had woke up]

Skipper awoke, feeling Marlene stir. He looked at her lovingly, and massaged the paw that was still on his chest. He was lost for a moment, until he heard Kowalski, trying his best to lead the others in their training exercises. Skipper slid away from Marlene, careful not to wake her. Looking at Marlene one last time, he headed over to his own habitat. Apparently, his team hadn't gotten very far with their training, seeing as how they were still deciding which exercise to do first. "Hey! Don't you remember? It's breakfast first!" Skipper said with a smile. At the sound of his voice, Private ran over to Skipper, happy as can be. "Oh, Skippa, I'm so glad you're back!" "Hey!," Kowalski said, possibly a little offended. "I thought I did pretty good as leader, well, substitute leader." He smiled too, and headed over to Private and Skipper. "aaaggghgar...
