Most persons that I know hate Melinda..even my dad and a couple of friends. I guess most of it comes from her being this all round superhero on television.they dont like that AT ALL. like my dad said once, I tink it was at the end of the second season,,,my mind giving up on me....wen Melinda was about to die and I was bitting my nails. "HOw come everybody dying and she aint dying?" my father boldy asked and I said that shes too good to die. lol. isnt she?? her work isnt finished in Grandview. Shes not evil so why must she die now? boy I tell u if Melinda dies soon Id be heartbroken.
SHes such a good role model... in a way that she never gives up...u see many ghosts come to her and she doesnt brush them aside...I love her for that. She helps them even wen its hard to do so. Melinda is a wonderful woman and I guess mostly that Jennifer is alot like her too. The two of them mesh alot.
So wen ppl ask me why is it dat I watch Ghost Whisperer like EVERY friday, I say simply, "to see my hero do her work." Isnt that it? Its not mostly the fact now about me watching to see if she and Jim will get back to gether. cuz that hurts me too to see her fighting for him and things...

i would be totally upset to loose one of the hottest and sexiest men around. he gives balance to her character. he is her rock and stability in her world of confusion and the greatest peice of eyecandy on television.the professor gives a good banter of humor for her character. but at the end of the day when one needs to have security and solace from one that truly beleives and understand you in these times, that comfort is jim. i think if you take that away you take away the ability to find a small corner that this is beleivable. he is the balance to her character. in the beginning that balance was aisha campbell, but when her character was removed he came to the forefront like a shining beacon and became the second strongest character there. and they work just right together like a hand and glove. if this was real he would be the perfect fit in your world of turmoil.
