Question about the Old Religion?

I'm guessing that seeing as most of Merlin is based on Druid religion the Old Religion is Druid based. It seems like it's more primal magic apposed to spell books ...

It may be but I think it is an invented religion.

That's what I've heard, but as it's only myth (D:) there is no set date/religion that has been proven. No one will ever know.

It is probably based on the Druidic traditions and tons of artistic license.

I think it is an invented religion but i guess some of it is based on legends and Celtic religion.

druids were real people but they never did magic because it doesn't exist they were just thought of as magic people in a time when people beleved magic existed
