In the last episode, Kasey goes through his first fate when he runs away after being teased by a group of high school kids who also wanted to know his true identity. Lucky for him, Zoey and the others were on the run in search for him as well as rescueing him from an out of this world experince- from suffring with starvation to being turned into a Predacyte for the first time. But at the end, things got better..or so the girls would imagine.
In episode 4, word has been going around about a strange monster that lives in the city sewers and has a scary way of showing itself. When the gang discover this, they are on the run to investigate who or what this monstrous beast lurking in the murky waters could be and why it is here. Unlucky enough for them, the Cyniclons are on a search for this thing too and they may beat them to it.
Another jounrey starts now...
The city is covered with colorful lights and is crowded with people. While things were bright in the city, underground is nothing but pure darkness and is a scary place to be. In the city's sewers, things are not only dark but smelly and fllowing with garbage. A worker who works at these parts of the sewers is about to climb to the top to reach the top leading out to the city when he suddenly heard strange noises coming from the darkest part of the area. Not knowing what it could be, the curious person reached for his flashlight and was about to make a move when the noises got louder and louder. These sounds terrified the man. He dropped his flashlight and quickly climbed out of the sewers. As the noises stopped, a dark figure soon approachs- what looks like a giant, scaley monster and had yellow glows in its eyes. The only things visiable were its sharp teeth.
The next morning, the report from last night had already became the number one hit in newspapers and certain magazines. At Cafe Mew Mew, the girls already knew about it.
Bridget: What do you think it could be?
Zoey: You think it's a Predacyte?
Corina: Maybe. But would Dren really release a Predacyte so soon?
Zoey: *Looks at Mini Mew* Well, Mini Mew would tell us.
Mini Mew: Don't know no Predacyte, don't know no Predacyte.
Renee: Whatever it is, it may take over the city and then it'll be too late for us.
Zoey: Do you think Elliot or Wesley knows about this yet?
Corina: I wouldn't think about sharing this with them right now. They have been very busy lately and they don't really care about other things we have to share with them.
Kikki: I for one really want to know who or what this mysterious thing is! It could be something from another world!

Zoey: Wait! What about Kasey? I'm sure he can provide us with some infromation concerning this so called "mystery monster".
Corina: Kasey is kind of busy too Zoey- ever sense he's gotten better, he has been taking a long nap.

A few minutes later, Kasey was well rested enough. But as soon as he got up, Zoey was standing in front of him.
Kasey: *Looks up* Uh, hi Zoey. What's up?
Zoey: We need your advice on something.

They showed him the article that talked about the monster. After observing, he finally came with an answer.
Kasey: *Nodds* This is a case of a living animal that lives inside the sewers.
Zoey: I knew you would be usefull!
Bridget: That is great Kasey, but do you know any short of creatures that could live in those conditons? It's dark, moist, sticky, and has bad odor.
Kasey: Well, there is only one kind of animal I know that could thrive in dumps like the sewers....it's the aliigator.
Everyone: *Stared at him like he was crazy*
Kasey: Why are you all looking at me like that?
Corina: You can't be serious? A giant reptile living in the sewers? You must be pulling our legs Kasey!
Kasey: I'm serious guys. I've known about this for a long time.

Zoey: I can't beleive this! We acutally have to go out and find this so call "monster gator" and battle it? My powers wouldn't even work on anything like that!
Bridget: I have to agree with Zoey- it would be impossible for us to fight against a real animal.

Zoey: Why in the world would you say that?? You told us that the point of our team was to settle disastress situations. How can you deny this?!
Elliot: Because an alligator living in the sewers is not any of our concerns Zoey! You need to understand...the point of the Mew Project is to protect Earth from threats such as the Cyniclons. But simple things like an animal out on the streets is not what this team is for. You are not an exterminator or a ranger, you are a Mew Mew and so are the others. Just stay out of it and I don't want to hear another word about it.
Zoey: *Gets angry and cried* I CAN'T BELIVE YOU WOULD EXCUSE THIS WHEN WE SHOULD BE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!! *Shuts the door and storms out*

Zoey: *Walks back to the main room still crying*
Bridget: *Notices* Zoey, what's wrong?

Zoey: *Nodds* I don't know what else to do......
Kasey: It's okay. We'll just have to do our search some other time or so. Don't let it get you down.
Zoey: *Looks at him, still with tears but gave a slight smile* Thank you Kasey...*Sniffs* You know just what to say.
Kasey: *Smiles* Well, that is what you do when you're a team player.
Bridget: So, he didn't approve?

Kikki: That meanie! If only he was a Cyniclon I would get him good!
Corina: I wish we could too, but he's just a person to our amusement.
Kasey: Well, all what we can do is just not give ourselves up- somehow and some way we must figure this whole thing out. But not until due time.
Renee: So what you are saying is that we should just drop this for now?
Kasey: Precisely.
Zoey: I don't see how this is going to work Kasey, but we will follow your plan.
Kasey: *Nodds* Thank you. My plan will work.
With everyone now backing out on their idea to finding this mysterious alligator, they can only back down for just a little while.
They aren't the only ones who knew about all of this. The Cyniclons have also been doing some research as well.
Sardon: *Looking at the infromation given by the computer* These data entries concerning this thing are as magnificent as I thought.
Tarb: *Whining* Oh quit stalling and tell us what this thing is already!
Sardon: Patience oh young one!
Tarb: *Crossed his arms while pouting* Fine!
Sardon: *Contuines reading the data infromation*
Dren: So Sardon, what things are you getting from this so called "thing on Earth"? I hope it is not that guy.
Sardon: No, this is something completly diffrent. Take a look for yourself. *Backs out of the way*
Dren: *Looks at the infromation* These readings must be telling us a lie- there is no such creature down there that could be more powerful than what we have created over the past few times.
Sardon: That may be so, but if you look closely these readings have infromed us that whatever beast is out there has the size, power, and extreme purpose for us to contain with. There by it will destory the world and the Mew Mews once and for all.

Sardon: Shut it Tarb! We are not here to argue about nonsense such as wondering who or what this thing is- we are here to think up a plan on how to corner this beast and use it as part of our plan.

Kasey: *Sighed* I guess my work here is done. *Jumps down from the table and walks*
Zoey: *Stops him* But Kasey, we need your help. We're sorry for not taking this seriously.
Kasey: *Stoped walking and turned* It's okay. I just really want to figure this out sense I'm crazy.
Zoey: You are not crazy first of all! And secondly,we will. We just need to ask Elliot and Wesley what they think.
Bridget: Just promise not to burst up.
Zoey: *Turns to her and smiles* Don't worry- I wil not burst.
Corina: Yeah right. Like the last time when Elliot made that comment about your new makeover.
Zoey: Come on! He said it didn't match my personality!
Kasey: I think I need to talk to them...
Zoey: *Stops him* No Kasey, I'm going. I just needed to straighten things out with the brat here.
Corina: Then why am I not crying or hurt?
Zoey: *Sighed while walking to the backroom*
Kasey: *To Corina* You honestly need to stop this.
Corina: Why are you getting upset about it? It doesn't even concern you.
Kasey: It acutally does. Your feelings, her feelings, and the feelings of the others mean a lot to me.
Corina: Oh..well, I'll forgive her when she comes back then.
Kasey: Good. Because she's doing the best she can to make things right.
Meanwhile, in the dark study room, Elliot and Wesley were working on some research concerning the Cyniclons and the Predacytes.
Wesley: Elliot, come look at this.
Elliot: *Walks to him* What do you got?
Wesley: These radar readings are growing stronger.
Elliot: Where are they coming from?
Wesley: It looks like they are coming from the sewers.
Elliot: What?
Wesley: I know, I wonder what could be down there.
Elliot: Well, whatever it is the Cyniclons will surely be after it before we even figure out what it is.
Zoey: *Knocks*
Elliot: *Turns* Come in.
Zoey: *Opens and enters* Hi guys, I'm sorry to intrude but I have something to share and ask you.
Elliot: Okay, what do you have? *Crosses his arms*
Zoey: I was talking to Kasey and he told me that there may be something in the sewers and I was wondering if you guys knew anything about it.
Wesley: I'm afaird we don't know about it yet.
Elliot: Hm, what all did he tell you?
Zoey: He told us that an alligator might be living in there.
Elliot: *Gave a serious humphed* I think you have been listning to him too much Zoey.
Zoey: What? But I'm serious! You have to beleive me Elliot!
Wesley: So, he acutally said that an aliigator might be living in the sewers?
Zoey: *Nodds*
Wesley: Then that is probably what's causing these readings.
Elliot: But Wesley, do you acutally beleive this?
Wesley: I can't really answer that. But it could be ture.
Zoey: So, what should we do about this?
Wesley: Well, we don't excatly have any proof if there really is an alligator living there. The only way you are ever going to find out is search the sewers.
Zoey: Then lets go and look for it now!
Elliot: I don't think so..
Zoey: What did you say?!
Elliot: You heard what I said- no, we are not going to search because this shouldn't be any of our concerns.
Zoey: Why in the world would you say that?? You told us that the point of our team was to settle disastress situations. How can you deny this?!
Elliot: Because an alligator living in the sewers is not any of our concerns Zoey! You need to understand...the point of the Mew Project is to protect Earth from threats such as the Cyniclons. But simple things like an animal out on the streets is not what this team is for. You are not an exterminator or a ranger, you are a Mew Mew and so are the others. Just stay out of it and I don't want to hear another word about it.
Zoey: *Gets angry and cried* I CAN'T BELIVE YOU WOULD EXCUSE THIS WHEN WE SHOULD BE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!! *Shuts the door and storms out*
Elliot: *Stays quite*
Wesley: Is she going to be alright?
Elliot: She will soon..
Zoey: *Walks back to the main room still crying*
Bridget: *Notices* Zoey, what's wrong?
Zoey: *Still crying* Elliot, didn't approve....
Everyone: What?
Zoey: *Nodds* I don't know what else to do......
Kasey: It's okay. We'll just have to do our search some other time or so. Don't let it get you down.
Zoey: *Looks at him, still with tears but gave a slight smile* Thank you Kasey...*Sniffs* You know just what to say.
Kasey: *Smiles* Well, that is what you do when you're a team player.
Bridget: So, he didn't approve?
Zoey: *Shook her head* No he didn't Bridget..
Kikki: That meanie! If only he was a Cyniclon I would get him good!
Corina: I wish we could too, but he's just a person to our amusement.
Kasey: Well, all what we can do is just not give ourselves up- somehow and some way we must figure this whole thing out. But not until due time.
Renee: So what you are saying is that we should just drop this for now?
Kasey: Precisely.
Zoey: I don't see how this is going to work Kasey, but we will follow your plan.
Kasey: *Nodds* Thank you. My plan will work.
With everyone now backing out on their idea to finding this mysterious alligator, they can only back down for just a little while.
They aren't the only ones who knew about all of this. The Cyniclons have also been doing some research as well.
Sardon: *Looking at the infromation given by the computer* These data entries concerning this thing are as magnificent as I thought.
Tarb: *Whining* Oh quit stalling and tell us what this thing is already!
Sardon: Patience oh young one!
Tarb: *Crossed his arms while pouting* Fine!
Sardon: *Contuines reading the data infromation*
Dren: So Sardon, what things are you getting from this so called "thing on Earth"? I hope it is not that guy.
Sardon: No, this is something completly diffrent. Take a look for yourself. *Backs out of the way*
Dren: *Looks at the infromation* These readings must be telling us a lie- there is no such creature down there that could be more powerful than what we have created over the past few times.
Sardon: That may be so, but if you look closely these readings have infromed us that whatever beast is out there has the size, power, and extreme purpose for us to contain with. There by it will destory the world and the Mew Mews once and for all.
Tarb: If only Sardon here would share with us what this mystery beast is, but NO he has to keep it to himself!
Sardon: Shut it Tarb! We are not here to argue about nonsense such as wondering who or what this thing is- we are here to think up a plan on how to corner this beast and use it as part of our plan.
Dren: Hm...
Sardon and Tarb: *Looked at him*
Dren: I think I might know what this creature is...it's a giant sized alligator.
Tarb: Alligator?!
Sardon: Dren, I told you not to mention that!
Dren: Oh come on buddy, it's not like we all can't keep secerts forever. Besides I already know what I am going to do. Care to join me?
Sardon: I'm not sure Dren..
Tarb: Well I for one demand to see this so called "monster gator"! So count me in!
Dren: Oh wonderful, then Tarb and I will go. You just sit here and molt. *Disappers along with Tarb*
Sardon: *Growled for a second but stopped and sighed* I just hope you know what you are doing...
Back on Earth, Zoey is on her way to school when she passed by Mark who was talking to a friend of his.
Zoey: *Says in her mind* Oh, there's Mark! I wonder if I should go up and say hello to him or maybe I should wait and let him notcie me first. Ugh! I can't decide what I want to do!
But Mark came to her instead.
Mark: Hi Zoey.
Zoey: *Speechless*
Mark: How are you?
Zoey: I'm-I'm good!
Mark: That's great.
Zoey: Arrre you doing great too?
Mark: I sure am. I acutally wanted to ask you something.
Zoey: Oh? What is it?
Mark: Well, I know you don't know this but there was an article in the magazine that explained about a mystery beast that lurks in the downtown sewers and I was hoping to know what this thing is.
Zoey: You mean, you didn't even know what the thing was?
Mark: No. So what I wanted to ask you is if you wanted to come by my place later and help me figure out what it is.
Zoey: *In her mind* Oh my gosh! Did he just invite me to his place??? No way!
Mark: Zoey?
Zoey: *Shakes her head* Uh sure, sure I'll be glade to help you out. *Smiles*
Mark: *Chuckles* I'm glade. Meet me at my house after you leave the cafe okay?
Zoey: Sure thing. *Nodds*
Mark: Alright. See you later Zoe. *Waves while running*
Zoey: *Blushes hardly* Oh my gosh! I can't beleive this!
It seems as if Zoey is the luckiest girl ever- to have such a wonderful boyfriend like Mark. At the cafe, Zoey works with a smile of delight on her face as she couldn't get over it.
Bridget: *Watches Zoey* Is it just me or does she look...delighted?
Kikki: It's certainly not you that's for sure!
Corina: Probably was asked out by Mark again...
Bridget: I do beleive you are right Corina.
Kasey: Guess there's one way to find out...
Everyone: Huh? *Looked at him*
Kasey: I'll go talk to her. *Walks*
Kikki: Is he really going to ask her about her crush?
Bridget: Seems like it, but I hope he doesn't ask her the wrong way.
Kasey: *Apporaches Zoey* Zoey?
Zoey: *Turns around sparkling happy* What can I do for you?
Kasey: Um..it's me, Kasey.
Zoey: Oh! *Shook her head but still smiled brightly* I'm so sorry Kasey. I have just been so happy and dreamy these past few minutes.
Kasey: Uh-huh. And I was wondering why.
Zoey: Because of Mark- he's inviting me to his house to do research on that creature lurking in the sewers.
Kasey: Really? *Looks back at the girls and then turns back to her* If you don't mind me asking this, can I come along?
Zoey: Really? Why would you want to come? Not to be mean or anything.
Kasey: Because I am like you too- I as well want to make sure that this thing really is an alligator and the only way we are going to find out about this is if we work together and harder to find out.
Zoey: You want to help me and Mark? Sure you can Kasey! *Smiles with even more glee*
Kasey: *Sweat drop while chuckling nervously* Thanks...*Turns and walks back to the others* It is clear that she is going out with him, but it won't be anywhere praticlly.
Corina: Oh I get it- he's invited her to his house for a little home dating.
Kasey: Oh quit it Corina!
Kikki: Shouldn't we come along too just in case something bad goes wrong?
Kasey: I don't think ya'll need to cause Im going with her.
Bridget: Are you sure you can handel it?
Kasey: Yes? What makes you think I can't handel it?
Corina: She kind of goes crazy.
Kasey: But what does that have to do anything? She doesn't go crazy all the time.
Bridget: You should've seen what she did last week.
**FLASHBACK STARTS**
In this flashback, it backs up to last week. At the cafe, Zoey breaks limited number of things such as dishes, cups, and even plates.
Zoey: *Cries* I'm such a klutz!
Corina: We need to talk Zoey...
**FLASHBACK ENDS**
Kasey: Is that what happend? I figured it had something to do with us, but what really made her act like that?
Bridget: We didn't know...she never told us.
Corina: But I've got to handle it to you, she is a total klutz.
Kasey: *Angered* That is enough! I will not sit here and let you insult her like that! She is not a klutz okay???
Bridget: Calm down. We're sorry.
Kasey: Yeah right! You guys are probably saying stuff about me too but are keeping them from me. Spill them out then!
Kikki: Get a hold of yourself! We're not making fun of anybody.
Kasey: *Took a deep sigh* I'm sorry...I just hate hearing others make fun of each other and it just doesn't feel right to me.
Corina: I know, but I can't help myself if I make a joke about her every often. She's just a funny person.
Kasey: Well, she can be serious at times too and I just feel like she doesn't get enough honor.
Bridget: But we do give her honor Kasey- we all give it to her everyday and all the time. Even when we are battling the Cyniclons and their Predacytes we give her a lot of honor. We give each other honor because that is what a team does. And just because we like making jokes about each other doesn't mean anything horrible or bad will happen.
Kasey: I know, I know..I should already know all of this. But sometimes a good joke will end up a bad joke and it makes others hurt.
Bridget: We understand Kasey. But we try not to take our jokes that far.
Kasey: Yeah...I'm really sorry for yelling at you.
Kikki: It's okay. But at lease you learned now. *Giggles*
Kasey: *Smiles* Right, I truelly do.
Things appear to be back to normal that is until the work shifts were done- Zoey was estatic and nervous at the same time.
Bridget: So, you're going to be okay?
Zoey: Of course I am! Why are you guys worried?
Kikki: We just want to make sure everything goes well.
Zoey: Thank you, but I will be alright seriously. Besides, Kasey will be with me. *Looks down at him*
Kasey: Uh-huh.
Zoey: See you guys tommrow! *Waves while walking out*
Bridget: *Whispers to him* Remeber- keep an eye on her.
Kasey: *Gives a thumbs up* Got it. *Runs to Zoey*
As the two left, the others sighed with envy as they didn't know what would happen next.
An hour later, Zoey and Kasey made it to Mark's house.
Kasey: I never meet this guy before in my life. Do you think he'll like me?
Zoey: I'm sure he will Kasey. Mark is a very sweet guy. Oh, and be sure not to talk or he will freak out.
Kasey: Sure thing.
Mark: *Answers* Oh hey Zoey.
Zoey: Hi! I'm here like I promised. *Smiles*
Mark: I see, glade you made it on time too that hardly happens.
Zoey: *Laughs*
Mark: *Notcies Kasey* I see you have a cat with you- is it yours?
Zoey: Um, yeah. *Picks him up* His name is Kasey and he is so loyal to me.
Kasey: Meow!
Mark: *Pets it* He is such a cute little thing.
Kasey: *In his mind* I like him...
Mark: Well, come on in. *Offers her to come in*
Zoey: Thanks. *Walks in*
Mark: *Shuts the door*
Zoey: You know, I am really suprised you invited me to your place.
Mark: I am too. Considering that we hardly spend time together much anymore.
Zoey: Gee I wonder why. *Sigh with depression*
Mark: I know why- it's because of your hard work at the cafe.
Zoey: Yeah..
Mark: *Smiles* Don't be sad about it. You should be happy to have some great friends you talk to everyday.
Zoey: I do. It's just not the same anymore. It used to be about you and me.
Mark: I understand what you mean, but things do have to change so often. But nothing over what we feel for each other.
Zoey: *Blushes* Yeah, definitely!
Mark: *Chuckled* Well, may I offer you some juice?
Zoey: Sure!
Mark: I'll be right back. *Walks to the kitchen*
Zoey: *Sighed with sadness*
Kasey: He's your boyfriend isn't he?
Zoey: *Shocked* Shhhh! Please don't say that outloud!
Kasey: I'm sorry.
Zoey: Yes, he is. But son't repeat this to anyone okay?
Kasey: The others knew?
Zoey: Yes and they will never leave me alone about it. Even Corina gets steamed about it.
Kasey: I don't understand..
Zoey: What?
Kasey: The fact that you told him that life used to be just about you and him- couldn't it still be about you and him but in a diffrent way?
Zoey: That doesn't make sense at all Kasey and no...you don't understand what I go through from school, to working, to battling the Cyniclons. It's like all of this mess has turned me away from him and there is nothing I can't even do to solve this or make it up to him.
Kasey: Oh come on! Just because you have a busy life doesn't mean things have to end between you and him. You two do still love each other by heart right?
Zoey: Uh-huh. *Blushes and nodds*
Kasey: Then there is no proublem.
Zoey: Huh? *Looks at him* What do you mean?
Kasey: It's clearly right there in front of you Zoey- if you two are still together and if you two still have strong feelings towards each other than there is nothing you need to be worried about. So what if you end up a few minutes late and if you never make it in time. He will never know about your Mew secert nor will he have any reason to be upset with you. He seems like an honest person.
Zoey: *Sighed* You're absolutely right about what you said. I guess as long as Mark and I are meant to be together then there should be no proublem.
Kasey: Excatly. Don't go off chansing a fantasy if it's not real. *Smiles*
Zoey: *Smiles and hugs him* You are so special Kasey, you are just so special.
Mark: *Returns with three glasses of orange juice* Here we go.
Zoey: *Puts Kasey down* Thank you so much Mark. *Smiles*
Kasey: *Jumps to the table and drinks some of his juice*
Mark: I still kept on wondering what this thing is that's lurking in the city's sewers.
Zoey: Me too.
Mark: I bet if we work together, we could find the answer ourselves.
Zoey: My point excatly!
Mark: *Smiles while sipping his juice*
Zoey: *Does the same*
After they had drank their juices, the three began doing research work on finding out the infromation concerning what the news reports were reporting. After hours and all night working, they finally figured it all out- the true mystery thing was the alligator all along just like Kasey said. Zoey and Mark were happy they found out and so was Kasey himself.
In part 2, Zoey and the crew will start their search for the giant gator. Along with them, Dren and Tarb are also searching for the excat same thing too- but may get ahead of the girls just in time to go forward with their plan.
