Rosabel spent the rest of December happily at Neverland. She had stayed up with the others on New Year's Eve and seen fireworks for the first time but once January started, Rosabel started to worry. She knew that Joseph was going to take her back to London but she didn't know when. She wasn't even sure if Michael knew. Rosabel had been debating with herself whether to put up a fight when Joseph came or just to go quietly. She never reached a final conclusion in her arguments, so she guessed she'd know what to do when the time comes.

A couple of weeks passed before Rosabel started noticing that things were a little different. Elijah, Simone and Mac started playing whatever she wanted to play, Janet and Elizabeth started buying her more things and Michael was almost always singing or humming songs like Smile, I'll Be There and Gone Too Soon. Then one evening, Rosabel overheard something that scared her to tears.
"Do you what's up with Michael, Elizabeth?" Janet asked. "He seems kind of upset."
"He wouldn't tell me at first but eventually he said that he was upset about Rosabel leaving. Joseph is coming in 3 days and he's gotta break the news to her tomorrow."
"I wonder why he didn't want to tell us."
"I think he was too upset to say anything. When he was telling me, he had tears in his eyes."
"So what did he say?"
"He said that he's scared of what will happen to Rosabel at the orphanage and he's scared that Rosabel will hate him because he agreed to let Joseph take her back."
"I hope Joseph doesn't hurt her." Janet sighed. "I remember when we were younger, he always used to beat the boys if they messed up during a rehersal."
"I wonder why he let Joseph take her back. I think Bill would've been better."
"Joseph's in charge of Bill too. Still, I doubt that he would even think about beating her."
Rosabel couldn't bear to hear anymore and she ran upstairs to her bedroom, with tears flowing down her face. She lay down on the bed and replayed the conversation in head. She hadn't thought about what would happen when she got back to the orpanage. How would everyone react? Would they be furious or relieved? Would Michael come and rescue her again? Rosabel eventually fell asleep with dozens more worrying thoughts in her head. One particular worry lead to a series of nightmares.

Early the next morning, Rosabel woke up shaking from her worst nightmare yet. She dreamt that the orphanage had turned in a prison for children and a security guard, that looked almost exactly like Joseph, came and dragged her into a jail cell, then started beating her until she could barely breathe. Rosabel tried to get back to sleep, but gave up after 15 minutes, so she put on a jacket and her slippers, then went downstairs. Since it was early morning, Rosabel expected to be alone downstairs, so she was surprised to see light coming from the lounge. She was even more surprised to see Michael lying asleep on the sofa with just his red sweater covering him.
"Michael?" Rosabel whispered. She tapped him on the shoulder when he didn't respond. "Michael?"
"Hmm?" Michael murmured.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah." Michael said, yawning and sitting up. "How come you're up so early?"
"I had a nightmare and I can't sleep anymore."
"A nightmare about what?"
"About the orphanage."
Michael's heart dropped like a stone and he couldn't help feeling guilty. "Listen, Rosabel, I need to tell you something..."
"I already know that Joseph is going to come soon."
"How did you find out?"
"I kinda overheard Janet and Elizabeth talking."
"You've got a knack for that." Michael said, laughing.
Rosabel sighed and pouted a little.
"Come here, Rosabel." Michael said. He lifted her onto his lap and gently started rocking her. "It'll be alright, I promise."
"Will it?"
"Mmm-hmm. Just, please, don't hate me for this."
"I could never hate you, Michael. I'll always love you."
"I'm glad to hear that. I love you more though."
"No, I love you more."
"I love you most."
"I can't top that."
"Yes, got you!" Michael giggled.
Michael continued to comfort Rosabel until she fell asleep in his arms. Before Michael knew it, he fell asleep too, feeling much better than when he had fallen asleep the first time. In a way, Rosabel comforted him almost as much as he comforted her. He knew that children don't lie when it comes to who they love and trust, and he had a feeling that Rosabel's love for him would never fade.

Empty bowls of ice cream, misery, trying to keep my family together. This is what's been going on lately with me. Jada is in rehab to try to stop her addiction to alcohol, my mother is so busy that she can't even come home. I can't mend my family back together by myself. I need a friend, someone to hug, someone to kiss, someone to love unconditionally.

I looked over at the wall behind me, where a picture of Michael kissing me on the cheek was standing proudly in a red, glossy frame, I think we took it in early '74. My thoughts were interrupted when the news came on. And guess...

Fancy's P.O.V.

Michael and his brothers were playing basketball in our backyard like normal kids. Tito was trying to be act like he was a great basketball player, which he isn't and Jackie stole the ball maliciously while Tito was on cloud nine.

The game only lasted about ten minutes, kinda pitiful if you were to play in the NBA. Today was the last day they could stay before they left in the morning, so we decided to hang out as for long as we could.

I was in the kitchen popping some popcorn during our sleepover downstairs. Auntie Colette was already asleep and left us to fret for ourselves....

Just about every year, I play Michael's music; in addition, to watching some of the documentaries pertaining to his life and legacy on Thursday, June 25th. I celebrate the life he lived, and look back all of his accomplishments despite everything that's been said about him in the tabloids and so forth. Sure, I was visibly upset when I heard about his passing, and I cried uncontrollably that that for the reason he's been apart of our lives for such a long, and I feel as though we all knew knew on a personal on a personal level, as well, as through his music. Michael Jackson was one of the greatest...

Fancy's P.O.V

My life has changed completely since Michael's left. I moved to Atlanta, Georgia with my rich Auntie Colette with my sister and we both pursued a career in modeling as a duo. My mother filed for divorce and my father moved to the Bahamas. Since then, my mother is too busy going on business trips. Michael's wrote me a few times, but not recently. When I wrote him a letter last month, I never got a response.

Auntie Colette has us modeling for the Calvin Klein clothing company that was established in 1968. The photo shoots were successful and earned us...

It was 2:00 in the morning, I was lying down next to Prince when the phone rang “Hello?" I groaned as a soft voice whispered “Hey, Lilly. Did I wake you?" Michael worried as I sat up “Oh no, what's wrong? Do I need to come over?" I worried as he chuckled. Michael was my best friend in the whole world, we told each other alot of secrets. But I always thought Michael had a secret he just didn't want to tell me “No, Lilly. I just wanted someone to talk to. That's all. Is Prince sleep?" Michael said as I whispered “Yeah, he is so cute." Michael chuckled “Oh God. Lilly, we all know...
