Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are officially engaged to be married!

They met on the set of The Last Song on 2009

Miley made the announcement in People magazine. She said “I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam.”

Last month, they denied rumors of being engaged, but this time it's true.

Liam proposed to Miley on May 31, so they didn’t take too long in announcing the news to the world. He gave her a 3.5-carat ring from Neil Lane.

Congrats to Miley and Liam on their engagement!
