Ever since trailers started coming out for Morbius, I developed a strange fascination with the film. Giving a spin-off film to a Spider-Man villain that had never even appeared in a Spider-Man film before seemed like such a confounding choice. Aside from the 90's Spider-Man cartoon series and some comics, Morbius has never been that much of a well-known character, so why give him a film? I became intrigued by what Morbius could possibly be like as a film.
The trailers sold me on the film. A gothic vampire story with an interesting origin, as well as a villainous Matt Smith and a special appearance...
