My Little Pony: The Movie is a 2017 animated film that is based on the popular animated show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The film has the show's voice cast playing the main ponies and celebrities playing the film's new characters.

The Plot

Twilight Sparkle and her friends (Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Spike) try to save Equestria from the Storm King. The Storm King had his top sidekick (Tempest Shadow) get the world in danger and steal the princess' magic. The ponies are helped out by some new characters who become their friends.

Although this is a overly cute My Little Pony film the film's plot is actually really epic. The world is put in danger which makes this far more important ands epic than most My Little Pony stories. The characters' storylines may be predictable, but the conflict is awesome.

The Characters

Twilight Sparkle (as usual) is my favorite of the main ponies due to being more important, interesting, and cooler than her friends. Twilight's friends have forgettable roles in the film. Tempest Shadow's storyline is predictable, but at least she has a understandable reason to be a antagonist and Emily Blunt did a good job at voicing her. As usual Celestia and Luna are bad princesses who should be fired.

My favorite character is the Storm King. The Storm King is super awesome due to how dangerous and epic he is. Also he has a good sense of humor. Every scene that he was in is amazing. Also a bunch of the show's characters have cameos.

The Animation

The animation looks different from the show. The film is a visual delight. It's colorful and there are several visually amazing scenes.

The Songs

I love the songs! The film has so many songs and I like all of them. The songs add so much charm and fun to the film.

Overall

I love the film. It may not have very good heroes, but the film's other qualities are impressive. The plot, the Storm King, the animation, and the songs make this film a amazing experience.

Audiences love movies about organized crime families. It seems like we can never get enough of them.

Actor Freddie Ganno is on the run in the latest ‘family’ film to add to your must watch list, “Unorganized Crime.” Directed by 2-time Oscar winner Nick Vallelonga (Green Book) and starring Chazz Palminteri, the film has won over 30 International Awards on the festival circuit and is now available on Amazon Prime Video.

It just so happens that Freddie got his start over 30 years ago in the film “The In Crowd,” starring Joe Pantoliano and Bruce Kirby, which has also recently been made...

2018 had some really good films that are worth talking, so this list is about my personal favorite films of the year. Two honorable mentions go out to the direct to DVD animated film Batman: Gotham by Gaslight and the Aardman film Early Man.

10. Sherlock Gnomes

Sherlock Gnomes is an animated sequel to 2011's Gnomeo and Juliet. I like the 2011 film, but I like this film more. That's thanks to Johnny Depp who shows off his voice acting skills as the title character. The film also has my favorite actress, Emily Blunt. Hearing two of my favorite celebrities in the same film was a real treat. Also,...

Who doesn’t love a good and scandalous book? Well, Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen definitely do as evidenced in their latest film “Book Club.”

Directed by Bill Holderman, the romantic comedy follows four lifelong friends when their lives are turned upside down after reading the infamously erotic "50 Shades of Grey." Along their journey, rising actress Amanda Martin steps in as a helpful flight attendant.

I recently caught up with Amanda Martin to find out more.

Tell us about your role in “Book Club.”
