Movies Top 5 Movies of 2008

mod_or_rocker posted on Jan 10, 2009 at 05:15AM
My favourites this year are as follows:

1. In Bruges
2. Rachel Getting Married
3. Hunger
4. WALL-E
5. Slumdog Millionaire

I won't lie, there's a few that I haven't seen yet. They would include Milk, The Reader, Happy-Go-Lucky and Man on Wire.

What were everyone else's favourites of the year?

I didn't watch much in 2008, but out of what I have seen:

1. In Bruges
2. Iron Man
3. Forgetting Sarah Marshall
4. Wall-E
5. The Wackness

It's a bit embarrassing, but I'll catch up.

Hey that is a perfectly respectable list. I haven't seen The Wackness yet but the others I all really enjoyed.

These are my personal favourites, not ones I think are like the best made or whatever, these are purely the ones I enjoyed most so don't mock me ;)

1. High School Musical 3: Senior Year
2. Milk
3. Camp Rock
4. The House Bunny
... I can't think of another one... I've seen hardly any films this year! There are loads I still wanna see, especially Madagascar 2 and The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2. :)

4. Hellboy II: The Golden Army

I'm a big sucker for superheroes. I saw a bunch of films in 2008, but I love superheroes! I also like Alan Rickman, who starred in Bottle Shock. (In case you haven't seen the movie or the preview, he played Snape in Harry Potter.) Australia was good, and so was Slumdog Millionaire, but some of the scenes in that movie were really graphic. The Dark Knight was a great superhero movie, too, and Batman is my favorite male superhero. I really want to see a bunch of movies this year, too.
