So after a day where I was told to go to college to get a high-paying job and make my passion for writing a hobby, I listened to the Original Broadway Cast of "Little Women." "Better" captures Jo's character better than all the adaptions I've seen "Home Alone" gives Marrmee's character the development she has been so long denied. "Could You?" Makes Aunt March the manipulative witch she is. "I'd Be Delighted" gives Meg's character a bit of nuance. "Take a Chance on Me" will please any Jo and Laurie shipper. "Small Umbrella in the Rain" sells Jo March MARRYING better than any other adaption!...

"Peter Pan" was my first Broadway musical, and is one of my favorite musicals besides "The Phantom of the Opera," "Annie," and "Oliver!" When I was six my family and I went to BlockBuster and got the VHS tape of "Peter Pan" my mom had asked me "Do you know a woman named Mary Martin played Peter Pan?" I had seen the Disney version, so a woman playing Peter was special. I liked Peter because he didn't grow up, and he could fly. I watched the Mary Martin version with my family. My Brother, Sister, Mom, Dad, and me. I LOVED it more than the Disney version. Though we lived out in rural New Mexico...

Let’s face the truth.
Religion is a touchy subject.
So touchy, that dare sort of medium discusses or uses it, there will be hate letters and hate mail streaming through the creators mailboxes and computers. Even Godspell as harmless as it seemed was criticized for portraying Jesus as a clown.
So what happens when Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the writers of a notoriously offensive, but surprisingly thoughtful and extremely well-written cartoon series make a musical discussing religion, using The Church of Latter Day Saints as its focus?
    One freaking...

Binarism, a word which here means has to be a man or woman. For Peter Pan, this means The coloring looks like a Barbie doll & the shirt is WAY too low cut, the V emphasizes Alison Willams' breasts, particularly when she's in motion, the fish netting gives it a hint of sexuality. For Tiger Lily, it's even worse! I'm nonbinary, and I don't dress in party streamers, or like a stripper! Being that Alanna Saunders is Cherokee, this is intersectional racism, or racism and sexism combined! The choreography for "True Blood Brothers" emphasizes the cut in the stripper outfit that goes up to her...

For every Musical Fanatic, there will always be that one show. This show proved to them that musicals were far more than anything they have ever known or seen. This show was the white rabbit that lead them into a phantasmagorical land of diva ballads, chorus numbers, and red curtains. For me, personally, this show was Phantom of the Opera. I had first learned about Phantom when I was 11 and at the time, there were no nearby touring productions. But thanks to the wonders of YouTube, I knew a film of the musical existed and rented it as soon as I could. This film became the center my pre-teen...

People of the internet, welcome to Dickensworld!
Dickensworld is a magical, fascinating place. You will find yourself in England, especially in London, from the period of 1820-1865. Be sure to take note that all the poor people are poor because they have visible rags, dirt all over their face, are super skinny, and have big, puppy dog eyes, cementing every Conservative’s idea of what a poor person looks like. This social commentary will be almost everywhere. It’s filled with interesting characters weather they are pure, sweet angels, eccentrics, or Lucifer incarnate. Oh, and keep an eye...
