So, I was on Youtube one day, and I came across a video. The video was a man speaking about an article in The Daily Mail, a Brittish newspaper, reffering to My Chemical Romance as "emo" and "a scuicide cult".
It's about a thirteen year old girl who was popular smart and bubly... until she became emo.
Her Myspace page had a pitcure of a girl with bloody wrists on it. She said "Hi I'm (I'm not giving names) and I'm addicted to MCR and Gerard!!!!!" She said she lives in "the black parade!!!" Things like "Dear diary, today I am giving up" were also written on her page.
One day, she said to her dad "I love you" and kissed him. And then she hung herself.
The parents are suspecting that it's because she listens to My Chemical Romance and they're a "suicide cult".
Wait, hold on a minute. Scuicide cult????? MCR saves your life, not throw it away!!!!!!!They think emos believe that they will go to the black parade when they die. How stupid is that? I mean, the bands creativness is fascinating, but the thought itself is stupid.
The day the article came out, all of the fans in the area (I'm talking over five hundred ppl here) came to protest at the newspaper's headquarters, saying things like "MCR SAVED MY LIFE!" or "I AM NOT AFRAID TO KEEP ON LIVING!" They did the right thing. They are smart people.
It was loud, but the reporters didn't care. They're horrible people.
When Gerard found out about this, he was very angry. Over and over, he said "emo is a pile of shit" and "our band is not emo!" but no one listens to him. No one, but the fans.
In one concerts on their Black Parade tour, Gerard yelled this "THE DAILY MAIL WROTE THAT WE ARE A SCUICIDE CULT!!!" the fans booed
"THEY WROTE THAT WE'RE EMO!!!!!"
the fans booed again
"THAT'S BULLSHIT!!!!!"
the fans cheered
"REPEAT AFTER ME: FUCK THE DAILY MAIL!!!"
the fans repeated.
"FUCK THE DAILY MAIL!!!!!"
the fans repeated again
"FUCK THE DAILY MAIL!!!!!!"
and so on and so forth.
My Chemical Romance was made to save emo teens lifes. They're against cutting and scuicide. Everyone needs to realize that.
Me, I'm not emo. I support Gee's thoughts though. Probably 4/10 of the fans are emo. I know some MCR fans that are cheerful and happy. Just because the fans are emo, doesent mean the band is emo.

That doesent mean "slit your wrists", that means "Don't slit your wrists. It's bad for you."
