is the cybunny nolonger able to be adopted when u first make an account??

i just returned to the game after not playing for a year and couldnt remember the fake b-day i put in (saftey reasons) and i made a new account and didnt see a cybunny to click! help! are my eyes just fooling me or is it real?!
