The 17-year-old singer is currently travelling around the US with his brothers Joe and Kevin on their Camp Rock 2 tour. He enjoys being on the road, but misses home a lot.
Instead of carrying a blanket or pillow as other stars have been known to do, Nick just takes his guitar collection with him when he is away from home because he finds the instruments comforting.
“I take my guitars with me when I’m away from home, but that’s it,” Nick told Top of the Pops magazine. “I don’t carry a pillow or a blanket from home or anything like that. I just take my guitars. As long as I’ve got them with me, I’m fine.”
The Jonas Brothers shot to fame when they appeared in Camp Rock in 2008. They have since become international stars, and Nick is glad he became a celebrity alongside his brothers because they help keep him grounded.
“When we shot the first movie there were no fans standing outside our hotel in Canada,” he said. “Now there are fans waiting everywhere. It’s an amazing feeling. You just have to take everything as it comes, but I’m extremely lucky I get to work with my brothers.”
