i was wondering what would happen if Nina had a twin, then i read a book with an evil twin, so my idea came along. BTW, this part is right before Nina (and, though she doesn't know it... her evil twin, Lina) go to the house of Anubis.

"Nina!" I called down the stairs. she popped her head out of her room. "what, Lina?" she was clearly exasperated. i smiled a little bit. "i just wanted to say goodbye, that's all." i said with my cutesy voice. "riiiiiight... like how you wanted to wish me luck on my first day of school and then drew all over my face?" i tried to not laugh, but it didn't work. "i have problems and you know it," i said. "none of what i did was my fault." she rolled her eyes and went back in her room. she was leaving for a fancy school in England. little did she know, she wouldn't be alone...
