No.

There has been lots of discussion about how Thirteen gets too much screentime. There have been a number of episodes in which she features prominently and the ongoing 'Huntington's Story Arc' ensures that she is in the limelight in most of the season 5 epsiodes so far. But is this a bad thing?

As an avid Thirteen fan, I say no. Personally, I think she is an incredibly interesting character. She has reacted to certain situations in ways that I didn't expect (for example, her shock whenever someone confronted her about her bisexuality, her depression about Amber dying, her openness about her disease with patients and so on). She has stood up to House in ways that other team members don't dare to (she regularly puts House in his place and leaves him speechless). And she carries on working in a job that confronts her with the reality of her situation on a daily basis. For these reasons, I want to see her on screen. I want to see how she reacts to the situations that her job puts her in. I want to see how she deals with her illness.

Does House already know...?
Hey,

these are just some thoughts which came to my mind. It´s high time that season 5 starts, I´m developing the craziest theories. *gg*

At first, look at the two pictures. The first one is from season 2 and the second one from season 4.

I started to compare these two situations, which are very similar at the first look, but start getting more different, if you look closer.

In season 2, Dr.Cameron was at risk for Aids and House, impatient and nosy as ever, tested her. He got the envelope with her test results, waited for Cameron to come into his office and told her then that she didn´t have Aids, because he already opened her envelope without having consideration for her private sphere.

In season 4 House found out that Thirteen could have huntington´s and immediately made a PCR test to find out.
Anyway, this time things happened to be a little different. We don´t know wether House got the envelope or wether it was sent to Thirteen directly this time, who then saw it and went to House with it.

'Last Resort' was an intense episode for a number of reasons. There was a lot going on. But as an avid Thirteen fan, I was particularly interested in what she went through in this episode.

Previously, we knew that Thirteen was afraid of her impending death, but we also saw that she was very determined to gain some control over the rest of her life, to the point where she seemed to be more interested in controlling her death rather than the remainder of her life. I had really sympathised with this position. Her disease will cause her to lose control of her body and her mind. Thus, it is understandable that she would wish to be in control of her life and to live her life in a way that ensures she experiences all of lifes greatest sensations.

In 'Last Resort', Thirteen volunteers to have the various treatments and tests conducted on her. I have a couple of theories as to why she did that. The first one, is the one that House suggests: martyrdom. In previous episodes, Thirteen as stated that she wants her life and her work to mean something to someone. She wants to leave an imprint of people and on the world. In 'Last Resort', she was given the...
