Honestly? I think it'll have about 3 seasons probably. With the curse broken so quickly, I'm not sure how much further the show can go. I know there's plenty of fairytales out there for them to use, but I still can't see this being like a 7 season long show. If their new goal is trying to get back to fairytale land, then I can see that lasting another season or 2. But that's just my opinion.

It's so hard to say at this point. But I think if it's done right it could go as long as LOST. The problem with that is that LOST did get a little overlong and drawn out.
But the unique thing about OUAT is that there's so many fairytales they could do, something Eddy and Adam pointed out at Comic Con.
And just because of ratings. I mean, we were all nuts about it since it premiered, but over the summer they've gained a ton of fans, thanks to us, so I think that season 2's viewership is going to be insane.
I can see it going for 5 or 6 seasons at this point, but that's probably the most.

I dont know, there is a planty of fairytales and they should continue someone's backstory (for ex: Jefferson's, Cinderella's,Red's ...... ). Who knows how many seasons show will have? On Facebook, for 1st season there was over a milion likes, who knows how many people will like it when the show keeps going on? If the creators of OUAT aren't stupid, they will keep show going on..

I think it depend on next season, if it get more popular the writers have to find away to make it more story at least for fourth season, then we see again for next year, how many season tv series can get always based on how many viewer it can attracted to, especially the one who need a huge budget like OUAT and if the series wins award that also help

Honestly, since it's already on season 4, and the introduction of new villains makes me think that OUAT may just have around 7 seasons total. There are still a bunch of unresolved things with Hook and Regina and even Gold, and even if it doesn't stretch to seven, I'm guessing at the least 5-6 seasons.

I think there will be 7-8 seasons because they can add more villains to the story and build up the characters.

Personally, I think the 3A finale would have been the perfect place to end the show (just excluding that cliffhanger at the end).

But, obviously that didn't happen, so I think probably season 6 will be the last. The audience count has dropped into OUATIW numbers, which leads me to think it's likely to be getting axed next year, unless they can drastically increase the number of viewers soon.
