could there be two sleeping beauties?

it recently occured to me that there could be the possibility that aurora might not be the only sleeping beauty. think about it. when regina mentioned a sleeping beauty to maleficent in "thing you love most" she was saying how she got the best of mal but we see in the season 2 premiere that aurora was still in the sleeping curse even after the curse was broken. it wouldnt make sense if this was the same sleeping beauty that regina mentioned to maleficent so i'm curious if the sleeping beauty regina mentioned might've been aurora's mother?
