As One Tree Hill nears its end, its stars are moving on to new stages in their lives. While that means new shows for several actors, the end of the show coincides with the end of a six-year marriage for star Bethany Joy Galeotti.

The actress announced on her blog that she and husband Michael Galeotti are getting divorced. The two married on December 31, 2005 and have one child together, a daughter born in February 2011.

While Galeotti is typically private when it comes to her person life, she made the announcement because she will be returning to her maiden name, Bethany Joy Lenz.

Fans will remember that for the first two and a half seasons of One Tree Hill, the actress was credited by her maiden name, but after her marriage, she changed her name.

This marks the third separation for one of the major stars of One Tree Hill during the show's run. Co-stars Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray were briefly married in 2005 before having it annulled. Former OTH star Hilarie Burton was married to one of the show's assistant directors Ian Prange (who was also the son of executive producer Greg Prange), but the two divorced in 2008.

One Tree Hill airs Wednesdays at 8pm on the CW, and the series finale airs April 4.

I was shocked when I read it on E! Online yesterday. It is really sad because I thought that they were doing so well together.

After Sophia and Austin split nothing surprises me, but you would think after that long for Beth and Mike and a child they would figure this our before having a kid! Just makes it messier. I guess it's true only true love lasts in One Tree Hill, not outside of it.
