The sky was pitch black and full of twinkling stars. The night sky was a truly beautiful sight in the desert. Harchi gazed up at the stars and sighed to himself. He pulled out a broken mirror and stared at his reflection. What stared back was a sad hyena with wilted ears and a broken expression. Harchi sniffled and rubbed a paw across his nose as a tear escaped his left eye and rolled down his muzzle to the tip of his nose. The drop of saltwater hung from his nose and dripped into the sand.

The next thing Harchi knew, he could hear Popy's shrill voice screaming from the trailer. Wiping his tear-filled eyes, Harchi got up and walked over to the trailer. Tomorrow was going to be a very rough day on the poor hyena. Believe it or not, Popy had a really strict curfew when it came to the holidays and she wanted Buck and Harchi to stay inside as much as possible.

Harchi entered the trailer and looked around. He looked down and saw an annoyed looking fennec vixen tapping her foot impatiently.

Oscar entered the first room he found, and he grabbed a piece of furniture and pushed it towards the door, blocking the entrance. He sighted deeply and layed himself in the floor, seeing Popy hang in a rope, upside-down; he couldn't resist and bursted out laughing.

"hahaha, very funny isn't it?" Popy asked with her deep-serious tone "just get me out of here so I can help you!"

"o-hahahha! ok, ok" Oscar giggled a bunch of times before finally freeing Popy. Suddently Oscar's walkietalkie started to shake, he picked it up and it clearly was Harchi and Buck who were talking.

"...e'll try to kill you!!! run away! run!" and comunication closed, Oscar shook, he didn't hear the first part of the message, were Harchi and Buck trying to kill him by saying "we'll"? or was his cousin and they'd said "he'll"? the second one was the most probable, but he couldn't aford mistakes.

"Popy, we need to escape" Oscar pulled out of his backpack a large calibre 47, which made Popy shake. Suddently a large bang filled the room, and Popy fainted, Oscar saw the door, it had clear marks of bullets, Oscar pulled slowly the furniture and...
