1. I like how the characters' gender roles are reversed. Female characters with traditionally masculine traits, like Katniss' hunting and fighting skills and her emotional distance, have become increasingly common, but these women are normally paired with even more masculine men. Peeta, on the other hand, has traditionally female traits like being more emotionally aware, having soft skills like baking and art and public speaking, and being in danger throughout a large part of the series.

FADE IN:
We focus onto what appears an abandoned battle field.

Streets are littered with broken glass shatters, turned over
dumpsters, trash and other debris of buildings. The aftermath
of a riot.

DISTRICT 8.


INT. DISTRICT 8 BUILDING- DAY

Even inside, the rioters have done their job. The destroyed
room is framed by smashed in windows, words and other
graffiti soak in on the walls. Small flames of fire arise
from different areas.
