"Come on, Rico! Step on it! We only have seven seconds!" Skipper ordered over the sound of the wind whipping past their faces and the engine accelerating.
Rico pressed harder on the gas, his brow lowered in deep concentration and anticipation. The vibration beneath them increased with the speed and they felt it through their bones. The car whizzed over the finish line and Rico brought the car to a...
Skipper woke up and got out of his bunk. He immediately felt the emptiness of the HQ, that's when he looked up to see empty bunks. Where were his men? All of the sudden, he heard a rustling noise coming from inside Kowalski's lab. He stealthily crept to the door and listened carefully. He heard the sound again. He poised himself for combat and flung the door open.
"SURPRISE!!!!!!" Skipper jumped as Kowalski, Private, and Rico emerged from the lab wearing party hats. Kowalski was carrying a fish-cake.
"Happy Birthday, Skipper!!!" Private said cheerily.
This is a story about Marlene's wild side... And how she gets it cured. (My first Fanfic) _________________________________________________________________________
-Marlene's point of view-
Here I am... Sitting in my habitat. Heh. More like a cave, or a prison... It gets lonely around here, especially at night. That's when I get the urge to go take a walk in Central Park, maybe with a friend... But I can't. It's too much for me to handle. All the freedom is so intense, it scares me. I freak out... And turn into a crazy, foaming, psychopath. And when I'm like that, I don't think. I'm just like...
Morning dawned at Central Park Zoo. Skipper climbed out the hatch and inhaled the fresh scent of a new days breeze. "Coming, boys?" the leader asked and looked around the flock. But something was different this time. Skipper noticed a small, fluffy ball on the edge of the concrete island.
"What is it, Skipper?" Kowalski asked as the other penguin stared at it. "What´s that over there? Kowalski, analysis!" Skipper ordered and he, Kowalski and Rico gathered around the fluffy ball. "Well, Skipper it seems like we´ve got company. Its a baby penguin" the scientist explained,...
The flickering of a small lamp illuminates the penguins' faces, some filled with fear or excitement, and others, boredom. Skipper stands in the center of the ring of penguins, and holds an eerie flashlight to his face.
Skipper: Tonight, as you can tell, is horror night! So, who wants to go first?
Rico, Private, and Kowalski sit motionless.
Kowalski: Fine, I'll give it a go.
Kowalski stands up and takes the flashlight from Skipper.
Kowalski: Alright.... once, there was a scientist, and he decided to create an experiment...
Skipper raises his "eyebrow", knowing that Kowalski's story will be predictable....
He was afraid of the dentist, and had been putting it off for some time now. He saw a zoo ad for “Painless Dentistry” and decided to give it a go. After all, if it was painless, it might help him get over his fear of dentists. He walked into the waiting room. The sign read that the dentist was out at twelve o’clock. It was eleven fifty now.
In the back, Skipper is putting away his instruments. His secretary, Marlene, buzzed in.
“There’s one more customer to see you, Skipper. Kowalski Houseman. He says its an emergency.”
