So... Doris is going to be in the Blowhole special? Well, this certainly rings a bell... And my Doris suspicion may be confirmed.

I suspect it, she was a spy sent by Blowhole to the penguins especially to Kowalski, who will use him to tell all their secrets. I know Kowalski would be a sucker for that!

I was considering the possibility that the Doris episode and the final Blowhole episode might be one and the same, and this confirms it. The idea of Doris being a spy seems like something ripped from fan fiction, however, so I wouldn't assume that's what the episode will be about quite yet. Also, that the episode will "[pay] off a lot of running gags from the series" sounds interesting.

^One running gag I noticed in the show is obviously Kowalski obsessing over Doris, and this episode might finally have the solution to that. Does Doris really like Kowalski or not?

The scene focuses on Blowhole trying to woo Doris (Kowalski's crying can be heard off screen)

Blowhole: Doris isn't it?

*Kowalski is crying offscreen* Aaaaah!

Blowhole: Now where w--

*Kowalski interrupts by crying even louder* Aaaaahahahaahha Doris!

Blowhole: Would you please keep quiet, I'm trying to woo the girl

*His crying intensifies than previously* Waaahahahahaah!

Blowhole: I'm getting impatient with you Kowalski. I'll make this quick, would you be my gir-?

*Cries even louder* Aahahahahaaha! Waaaaaaah Don't leave Doris! Wahahahahhaaaah! DX

*Eventually it reaches to the point where he sounds like a little girl begging for attention*

You know, I never realized the scenario I just created above is so canon in my head, that it would really happen in the actual episode it's in, that's weird. Plus I made Kowalski so desperate to grab all of Doris' attention, I really feel sorry for the guy!

Blowhole and Doris together is a perfect way to end PoM! But now Kowalski will have to do what every broken hearted person does: "Eat ice cream and listen to Adele songs" (Debby Ryan from Jessie)

This was a great interview to read! I love the fact that the last episode will reference a lot of previous episodes. It does disappoint me, though, that the movie will not be connected to the series. I wonder how Dreamworks will develop the penguins' characters, since they're going to have to go much more in-depth if they're the stars.

I hope this is a one-hour special. Blowhole is just too good to contain in half an hour anymore!

Oh yeah, Blowhole, Doris and Kowalski in one episode. This is gonna be an epic finale, Kowalski's gonna be so miserable he's gonna be able to talk to anyone for months because of 2 certain dolphins getting along... who I'm not gonna mention XD

I'm very excited to hear that it has been confirmed a Blowhole special, but I don't think it will be the last to air because a season with 29 episodes is way to short, I think dreamworks has more than enough money to keep the show alive. Also look at how well the show has been doing! I mean in 3 years of air time it's already won a bunch of awards and it's even starting to top spongebob on ratings and reconition. Finally, you can't just kill the happiness of millions of fans. Am I right?

^Lame indeed, they're replacing POM with teenage mutant ninja turtles :O Which is stupid TMNT has been have been renewed and revised into a new series with each decade, while POM is left to rot in the dust. It's so unfair!

Okay, I've heard there is a petition to give POM a 4th season and better time slots, but that will only buy us some time. We must make a terrible history changing sacrifice if we want to keep this show:
We can;t vote Spongebob Squarepants best animated in 2013! If POM stays long enough for KCAs, we have to vote POM best animated show of the year. It'll show the creators how much we want this show to restart production, at least after a short hiatus. I am very sorry to all Spongebob fans, but we must choose Spongebob's record, or POM staying.

Okay, Update. We might not have to stop voting Spongebob in 2013. No news on whether or not they've restarted production, but on Madagascar Wiki, they took "It may as well be that last episode to air" off of the trivia section, so even though the petition hasn't reached 3,000 signatures, they might not be ending the show. Still, in case they're still ending it, they might have taken it off to stop early hype/expectations.
They now also have and/or had a phtot/poster showing Skipper, Kowalski, Private, Rico, Blowhole, Doris (yay, but from the angle of the photo, she looks fat), and a mysterious Platypus (possibly a "spy" for Blowhole ("The Penguins/Spy Who Loved Me")
