Woosh. A single arrow of three feet solid silver whizzed through the air and hit a charging bull in it's eye.
"Bull's-eye", snickered a young girl of about fourteen.
The bull staggered with steam billowing out of it's nose and six more silver arrows sprouted from it's neck and it exploded into yellow dust.
The girls that had shot the bull went to the mountain of yellow powder and each took their arrows from the pile. There were many more girls and they were all wearing the same thing: camo pants and silver jackets. They were all around their teens- fourteen, fifteen- the youngest had to be only twelve and the oldest was around sixteen. She had black hair and it was short and spiked. She wore a black shirt under her jacket with a skull on it and a silver ringlet like a tiara lay on her head.
"Set up camp here, we'll rest for the night and get back on the trail in the morning", the black haired girl told her hunters.
The young girl that shot the bull's eye pulled out a small package about the size of a package of gum. She pressed to silver package and it unfolded into a large tent in less than 10 seconds. She was about to go inside when she was called over by their spiky haired leader, "June! Good aiming", she winked at her. June grinned and after reminiscing a moment asked in a shy tone, "Do you think we'll ever find him, Thalia?"
Thalia's face darkened and her eyebrows knit together so she looked like she'd suddenly aged ten years. "We just have to trust that what Artemis said was right. We can't lose Lycaon's trail." June nodded in agreement and went back to the tent looking stern.
Thalia glanced at the moon with eyes full of worry and reluctantly went into the shining tent.
June, being a demigod before she became a huntress, still had dreams that also served as visions. She had a dream that night. Or, in other words, something bad is going to happen. Her dream started with a cave high up on a mountain she believed to be Pikes Peak. There was a huge wall of fire blocking the entrance and she could barely make out four figures behind the flames. Wolves were snarling and yipping impatiently around the entrance to the cave. June gasped and her eyes narrowed, "Lycaon!" She heard someone say something in Latin and the wolves hesitantly backed off.
June woke up and immediately ran to Thalia. Thalia was already awake, sitting on her bed twiddling her fingers.
"Thalia. I know where."
Thalia's face lit up. "Tell me."
