When they got to the top of half blood hill, Thalia made her finial stand alone against a herd of monsters that had been following them. When Thalia was dieing, her father, Zeus, took pity on her and turned her into a pine tree. In the Sea of Monsters, the second Percy Jackson book, she make her dramatic first appearance at the very end. In the third Percy Jackson book, the titans curse, she gets an offer to join the huntresses of Artemas. She accepts the offer and vows to be a maiden forever. She becomes immortal.
