Andrei, as usual, is weary of life. This guy seriously he was born disatisfied with life and sad. Well I guess it isn’t really strange with that crazy, patriarchal, selfish father and that annoying sister of his. However when he meets Natasha at the Rostov family home it’s like a fresh breath of life and obviously he fells in love with her. It’s absolutely natural that he feels drawn to her, since Natasha is so charming, pretty and full of life.

Lieutenant Berg, who is set to marry Vera Rostov, discusses the question of her dowry with the Count and he is so much in love with her that he bargains his marriage for a hundred thousand rubles. Obviously, with the mismanage of his fortune the Count becomes worried about the family’s financial security, but he agrees to give the money. The family decides to cut down on their spending (and it was about time!) and the Countess suggests that they should ......

I have never seen "FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD", the 2015 adaptation of Thomas Hardy's 1874 novel, in the theaters. And yet . . . my knowledge of this film led me to view two previous adaptations. And finally, I found the chance to view this adaptation, directed by Thomas Vinterberg.

I must admit that I am usually not a fan of novels or any other forms of storytelling that are based upon or continuations of published works of the origin author. This is certainly the case for the numerous works (sans two) based upon Jane Austen's six published novels.
