Why do you think Perry is blue?

That's weird how on Phineas and Ferb they make him blue and real platypuses are brown.

not always....1 coat color is brown, 1 is black, there's gray, smokey, and there's blue and dark blue. however, just like on cats, when a coat is blue it means blue-gray. a smokey coat is a dark blue-gray only more gray. (just like on Smokey Egyptian Maus. see pic below 4 Smokey) Cartooning is all about exageration.... on another note, Perry is more of a blue-green, teal kinda color

Unfortunately, Perry's mother passed & Doofenschmirtz saw young Perry as a weak platypus not suitable for testing, due to the chemicals changing his skin color. With no use for Perry, he was then thrown out and found by an animal shelter, later adopted by Phineas & Ferb. The chemicals in his brain explain why he develops a hate for Doofenschmirtz & how he learns his agent skills so quickly.

Also it's a cartoon for kids, & the creatirs wanted him to be blue so he became blue
