WHY DID MY PARENTS FREAK OUT WHEN I WOKE UP?? (long as usual)

So I had a dream that Peter visited me and we flew around my town and what happened is we soon started to visit other people that live in my area (like my friends and family) then we were at my grandmas and we were on top of the roof top and he was trying to convince me to stay in Neverland and be a Lost Girl and when I was about to say yes absolutely I woke up and it was the middle of the night like 1 or 2 AM?? But this happened a couple of days ago but then I see my mosquito net pushed out too much like if someone didn't push it in all the way and I ran to my window and was screaming out the window "why didn't you let me go??" repeating and repeating then I guess I woke up my parents and when they opened my door they run in and scream my name and hug me like I was gone for awhile and I didn't understand why they were so happy I woke up at 2 AM?? Then when I went back to sleep I remember asking in my head "Why didn't you let me go, Peter?" and hearing a whisper in my ear that woke me up saying "you'll miss them too much" OK SO MY QUESTION IS DID I GO TO NEVERLAND FOR LIKE A DAY BECAUSE I AM STILL FREAKED OUT ABOUT IT AND I'VE BEEN ASKING HIM QUESTIONS AND "DREAMING" ABOUT ME GOING TO NEVERLAND AND ASKING THE LOST BOYS QUESTIONS ABOUT EVERYTHING TO SEE IF PAN TOLD THEM ABOUT ANYTHING BUT THEY SAID THEY CAN'T TELL ME AND AH I NEED OPINIONS!!
