It is almost time for baseball in January!! St. Brendan's second Speaker Series guest is Pirates’ broadcaster, Greg Brown. Share Sunday evening, January 24th, with Greg when we will hear how he chased and has lived his professional dream. Mr. Brown spent years in the Pirate organization preparing to become the lead broadcaster when the time came. The time did come and Mr. Brown has lived his dream while announcing more than 3,300 games. Only the immortal Bob Prince and long-time favorite Lanny Frattare announced more Pirate games. Doors will open at 6:30pm for ballpark snacks and conversation. Prepare for the ballpark aroma of hotdogs, nachos and popcorn. Mr. Brown will begin "Raising the Jolly Roger" at 7:30pm. Imagine baseball, snacks, good friends and a conversation with Greg Brown. You are also invited to participate in the evening's sports-related raffle. over a year ago
