Pixie Lott has promised an "absolutely incredible" array of talent from the young contestants taking part in ITV\'s upcoming

saying the standard of the acts is nothing short of brilliant.

this morning (April 14), Pixie discussed how difficult it was to narrow down the pool of contestants while also praising the fearless nature of the young people auditioning in the first place.

"We\'ve done everything up until the live final, which is in July," Pixie revealed. "It\'s been absolutely incredible. The talent, the standard of the kids, would just blow you away. I couldn\'t believe it."

She continued: "They are all so talented but obviously you can\'t put them all through.

"The kids who didn\'t go through to the next round are so fearless and they\'re just so excited to be there and they\'re still so excited for their futures and what they can do.

"I do have loads of empathy for the kids because I\'ve been there doing auditions in the same shoes as them at that age – but I still do it now."

Pixie will act as a judge on the talent search\'s new spin-off show, which will be searching for a new

winner from a pool of acts aged between 7 and 14.

Joining Pixie on the judging panel will be McFly\'s Danny Jones and the long-running

The three stars are going to act as coaches, and while the contestants will be smaller the show will still reportedly be "big time".

"At first I was hesitant to do it, as I thought it was hard to let a kid down." will.i.am teased of the new series. "But we did more of the crying!"
