My brother's not a werewolf
though it often looks that way.
He has to shave his whiskers
almost every single day.
His feet are getting furry
and his hands are sprouting hair.
His voice is deep and growling
like a grumpy grizzly bear.
He often sleeps throughout the day
and stays up half the night.
And if you saw the way he eats
you'd surely scream in fright.
His clothes are ripped and dirty
like the stuff a werewolf wears.
His socks and shirts are shredded
and his pants have countless tears.
If you should ever meet him
you'll discover what I mean.
My brother's not a werewolf;
he's just turning seventeen.

The Monogram

by Odysseas Elytis

I will always mournhear me?for you, alone, in Paradise.

I

Fate, like a switchman, will turn
Elsewhere the lines of the palm
Time will concede for one moment

How else, since man loves and is loved

The heavens will perform our insides
And innocence will strike the world
With the scythe of deaths blackness.

II

I mourn the sun and I mourn the time that comes
Without us and I sing of others whove passed
If this is true

The bodies addressed and boats sweetly gliding by
The guitars that flicker under the waters
The believe me and the dont
One in the air and one in the music

The two small...

A beautiful bride awaits for her groom
Doesn't mind if he's a tad late
They did plan too early though
Made everything go faster.
Hours and hours went by
Making the bride nervous and nervous
But seeing her fiance's new beau
Made this woman go madder and madder.
The church a block away
The bride stomped and stomped as she walked
Looking through the sacred glass windows
Of seeing the devil she once loved.
She stalked them to their honeymoon
As the new couple found out to be their last
In her beautiful white wedding dress
Turned red by 1:00am that night.
The next day the neighbors of the hotel room were worried...

Once there was a dog apricot and a cat gray and white
they witnessed the oddest sight
A little old man with gray on his head
climbed through the window of an old shed
Said the dog to the cat
Why does he do that?
The cat said I don’t know let’s watch and see
They watched as the man came back out bumping his knee
The man then took his tool new
and busted the lock on the door in two
Then the cats eye shone bright
For he now understood this odd sight
He said to the dog there is only one reason for acts like these
The little old man has lost his keys

Three weeks have come and gone
The little old man put a...

Go ahead
Hate me
I don't care anymore

Go ahead
Beat me
I don't hurt anymore

You think your stronger
You think you're more powerful
But you're not

I have confidence
I have love
I have a heart
I have something that you can never break

I am not glass
I am not plastic
I will not cover for you
You have hurt me too much

You led me towards harm
For many years now
I felt like I porcelin doll
But I am a woman now
You cannot break me

You can't change me
You can't break me
You're weak and powerless

You're words may hurt
You're words may cut me
You're hands may harm me
But never break me

I haven't quite found love yet
I know this...

What would you do if you once slept then woke..?
Took a look at your mirror, and stared at the reflection of yourself, then cried?

There is the question inside you makes you scream, and say....
"Who could I be?"
"Who could I be?"

Am I still who I was or I split into two?

And then... yeah then.....?!

You the fellow in the mirror, please tell me who I am. Just explain to me how I feel, happiness? Sadness? Or soreness?

Whenever, lots of things of our life instilled within our confusions, and here we survive, we still satisfied. Back and forth.

What would you do if you slept then woke...?
And found out...

I wanna bet

That yours is the one

That isn't dent

I wanna see

if you will bleed

Or maybe die

another time!

But if it clicks

And it won't bang

Pass it on to

the rest of the gang!

And then we'll see

If he will bleed

Or if she'll die another time!

But it's only once,

Don't be a dunce,

You'll just die

Another time!

And then the next

Time that we play,

Be it not or if we may,

Get all for you but none for me

Because I don't want to be greedy!

And after all, I'm not a jerk

I just want to see if you will learn

How to take a gun

And hold it tight,

I swear it's fun!

Don't worry it is alright!

But you should

Know...

If no one ever marries me,—
And I don’t see why they should,
For nurse says I’m not pretty,
And I’m seldom very good—

If no one ever marries me
I shan’t mind very much;
I shall buy a squirrel in a cage,
And a little rabbit-hutch:

I shall have a cottage near a wood,
And a pony all my own,
And a little lamb quite clean and tame,
That I can take to town:

And when I’m getting really old,—
At twenty-eight or nine—
I shall buy a little orphan-girl
And bring her up as mine.

Hope you like it, that it speaks to you, invites you, whoever you are.

I may only be One Voice,

But my One Voice is important because without my One Voice we could never have one million Voices.

my one Voice stands for ME.
what I think.
what I believe in.
and who I am.

My Voice is unique
But so is every other Voice
and every Voice is important*

So let your Voice be heard, be One in a million Voices

*not part of the original poem:

Important because millions of voices can create a defaning roar.
