This is an article about shipping on Pokemon.You all know about couples or people who you like being together as a couple?Well thats called shipping.Now Pokemon has a lack of romance for a lot of us,which makes it even harder to have pairs and shipping.But as you know characters such as Brock and Lyra keep it going(Omg they make me laugh so much).Now Brock has a lot of shippings due to his attraction and womanizing for woman (flirting).Theres Brock and Nurse Joy which is one of the most famous Brock shippings.And a lot others.But the sad thing about internet shipping is that on the internet articles about shipping(made by professionals such as bulbapedia)only make pairs on the characters that know or have made some sort of contact with each other.But of course you can make up your own pair without the characters even knowing each other(I ship Dawn and Drew even though they never met).There are the names for ships too such as "Pearlshipping","Pokeshipping,"Contestshipping","Advanceshipping".I know you have heard one of these at least once.Well thats because they are the most famous shippings in Pokemon.Different names of shippings are different pairs that people "ship".For example,"Pearlshipping" is the combination of Ash and Dawn.They named it "Pearl" because of the Diamond and Pearl Pokemon series were Dawn and Ash appeared together.And pearl instead of diamond just because they though pearl fit Dawn best.I know there is a lot of conflict between ships such as "WTF you people are crazy,poke shipping is better!" and stuff but let people have their opinions and you have yours.It would be much worst if everyone have the same opinion trust me.Now just to say in which places the ships are most popular in.In Japan its Pearlshipping.In the U.S.A its Pokeshipping(Misty and Ash) and Pearlshipping which there is a lot of conflict between these two.Sorry to disappoint Ya'll if you hoped Japan to be more Pokeshipping or wtv. By the way Im a super fan of Pearlshipping.
