"Hey, skeleton girl!" I turned to see Butch, Boomer, and Brick running in their costumes. Now all we have to wait for is-
"Hey everyone! Sorry I am late. I had to make sure I looked like an actual ghost" It was Miyako.
"Hey, Boo." said Boomer. "You are just in time, and as usual, Bones is first to be here". I waved. She waved back. For the next two hours, we went to peoples' houses, saying trick or treat while they gave us candy or small toys. Then after, we went to the old mansion to trade our candy.
"I like all chocolate!" said Boo.
"I like all jawbreakers!" said Boomer.
"I like all pop rocks!" I said.
"I like all smarties!" said Butch.
"I like any type of candy!" said Brick
Well, that was obvious. We swapped candy candy and parted our ways when my belt beeped. I ran behind a tree and transformed into Powered Buttercup. Then I opened my compact. "What is it, Peache?"
"I didn't send a call. Maybe you imagined your belt beeping." Peache answered.
"I guess so. I'm gonna check the city, just in case." I flew up and scanned the city. Everything seemed normal. I went home and got ready for bed when my belt beeped again. But this time, it beeped faster than before. "What the? It's never done that before." It made me go into the woods, to the river near the volcano. My belt was beeping like crazy. I transformed, took off my shoes, and walked into the water. I went to the place that my belt stayed at a glow without stopping. I looked down when something caught my eye. I sat in the water and picked it up. It was a black stone. Then a it formed a necklace chain around my neck. It startled me for a second, but not as much as it did when it got in my head.
'Hello, Kaoru. I'm your stone. You have my power inside you and at your will.'
'You made my belt beep?'
'Yes, Kaoru, I did. Now we are connected. I have the power of true light and darkness. Now it's yours. Whenever I start glowing, you have a new power. But this is all I can say for now. Tell nobody of me, goodbye for now.' Then it stopped vibrating, I realized. I went back home, transformed back to normal, and went to bed.
