But it's a good thing they have followed the book in this part because it would make no sense for them to kiss. However, it was SO CLEAR they wanted to, and that's what I really liked about the movie. You could clearly feel the tension, the unwilling wanting, the heat building up...and yet they couldn't because Elizabeth despised him and Darcy felt hurt because of her rejection... So yeah, I think it's good they haven't kissed and I find it even better that they almost kissed... Aaa, I love the movie... posted over a year ago.

I'm not quite sure how to explain, but it would have been great. But, as I read some of the comments, it was better to leave it as it is in the movie. I also think it was brilliant what they did; the almost kiss.... it adds emotion and wanting. It shows that they love each other, but they won't necessarily show it... I don't know how to explain, but you know what I mean? But, it would have been great if it did happen!
