Door slams open, letting in a lot of light, and a loud Bang. I squinted my eyes and tried to see what dum-dum would do that instead of just tapping my shoulder and say"Good Morning!". to find out it was ....my brother...James

"GET UP, ITS 6:10 A.M! ", he shouted then paused "HEY DID YOU NOT JUST HEAR ME, I SAID GET UP NOW!!!" he screamed even louder almost blowing my ear drums.

I planted my head on the bed board and counted to 10.....and then took a deep breath the shouted"I HEARD YOU SO STOP YELLING AT ME BEFORE I BODY SLAM YOU TO THE FLOOR AND PUNCH YOU T'ILL YOUR LIGHTS GO OUT!!!". I calmed down and got from my bed while my brother was just frozen there like"No the hell she didnt" . He deserved it and i had morning breath, yea lets see how he likes the smell.

CM(crystals mom)- Good Morning baby, what was all that hollering up there?

Me- Oh just sister and brother love as always

Today was the second to last day of school. I was in the 12th grade and on the varsity basketball team captin. I've been going to school at St.Jefferson High with my best friend Kristine, who should be here by now. She usually picks me up in a car her dad bought her and we go to school. I wish my dad was here. When i was eight, he left me and my mom and James for the streets, then got shot two weeks later cause he didn't give his money to some guys.

James comes behind me and slaps the back of my head and knocks my bacon out my mouth. I just sat there and ignored it and continued eating my food. James is a drop-out kid. He dropped out of high school and now works at Old Navy as a cashier. I just thinks he's just jealous cause I'm going to finish as tomorrow comes and I'll graduate High school and get the hell out of here.

finishes plate and hears honking noise

Kristine- LETS GO WE'RE GONNA BE LATE SLOW POKE!!!

I grabbed my basketball bag and back-pack and head out the door.

me- Bye mom, love you and James -shrugs my shoulders then walks out door-

Kristine- what took you so long

I looked at her like"stfu it was only one minute calm yo ass down" but i said

me- sorry i couldnt find my social studies book

She shrugs her shoulders and speeds up

me- SLOW...DOWN

Kristine-sorry -slows down-

I nodded my head and looked out the window. I checked my phone to see what time it was and it was 7:20. And school doesnt start t'ill 8:15. So we stopped at starbucks to get some coffee.

Kristine- hey!-she taps my arm- isnt that Jacob perez from our school?

I didnt know who the hell she was talking bout. I shooked my head. "he is kinda cute, but idk him though" i thought in my head

Kristine- he used to go out with debby-I stopped her -

Me- i dont want to hear her name ever around me-rolls my eyes-

Debby,Debby,Debby, the cheer captain, dance team captin, and what can i forget....oh yea prom queen homecoming any queen if I say. She thinks shes better than everyone else. One day i wore the same shoes as her and she walked up to me....

FLASHBACK

Debby- hi, crystal right?

me- yea?

Debby- ok, -stands on a chair and shouts- HEY EVERYBODY CRYSTAL JUST PISSED HER PANTS!!-spills her drink on my pants and takes my drink and pours it on my shoes-

Debby~ -whispers- next time dont try to look like me -walks away laughing with her posse-

I cried and ran to the bathroom while everyone pointed and laughed at me

Kristine- o..kay... what do you want me to call her

I looked at kristine and ignored that question and walk in starbucks

kristine- what!.....w-what did i say?!. - follows me inside

I ordered a frappe and kristine ordered same, i went to go get a straw and napkins and as i reached for the straw, someones hand land on mine...and it stayed there for like 10?15? seconds

Person-sorry you can have the straw, if you want

I looked up and looked at his face...and....he looked so...fine...i just stood there and froze then thank god kristine saw what happened and came in to save me

Kristine- hi, jacob right ?, -he nods his head yes-im kristine and this is crystal, sorry she has this thing where sometimes she froze and forgets to talk, well you take the straw and have a good day cya!

Me and kristine exited and i was still kinda frozen and i was buffering like a old computer from the 90's. I tried to speak but just stood there and embarrassed myself and...

kristine-hey- she snaps her fingers- earth to crystal....are you okay?

I saw her mouth moving but didnt hear a word she said, i was shocked and also disappointed because i still didnt get a straw and a napkin and also kept thinking about ....him
