there's so many ignorant and small minded people in the world. it doesn't matter if he was gay, straight, bi, or whatever. he was a wonderful and talented person and his personal life was no one else's business but his.

well. . .no. he was a great singer, performer, song writer, and person. we all have our flaws, but gay or not, you had to admit the guy was a genius. plus too he had a beautiful soul and was an incredible person.

For the record, Freddie WAS indeed gay. And does it matter? NO. Who cares?! Just enjoy the music! Besides...his ability to tap into his emotions made for better songs. Freddie was never afraid to just put it all down on paper and then sing his ass off about it.

Why should I be upset because a beautiful human being like Freddie was true to himself? He was actually openly and publicly bisexual and had no regrets of being so. He never was a fraud like many human beings I know, who see themselves as somebody else; the problem is they do not even know who they really are. Freddie knew who he was and was feeling good about it.

He was definitely bisexual. He wrote the song, Love of My Life for a woman. But it doesn't matter what his sexual orientation was. He was amazing. <3

When I watched the music video for Killer Queen I wondered why he acted and dressed so...feminine. When I found out he was gay, I thought "That explains it." but I didn't really care.

Yea kinda, he could of written more wonderful songs, but the one that exist are wonderful too.

I don't know what's wrong if you're gay/bi. I mean, why is it so unusual if man falls in love with another man? Why should it always be man and woman? I seriously don't understand people who hate gays. They are also human beings. But people always hate the ones, who are different from the others. I guess that's in their nature. it shouldn't matter what Freddie's sex life was to judge him as a performer/singer. People should love whom makes them happy whether it be male or female. So I'm not disappointed that he loved the same sex because it has nothing to do with his performing. I'd say the same about Elton John he's just as amazing and more open about it :)

Second of all, why is the even a question? We shouldn't base our opinions of people on their sexual orientation. It's just sick. Sorry if I'm wrong, but this question seems like it's suggesting the author doesn't like gays. That's just my observation. There's nothing wrong with being gay, bi, lesbian or whatever. Freddie was a human being, and an amazing one at that!
So no, I am not upset he was bi, not at all. I won't judge him on something as petty as what I think about sexual orientation. I judge him on his talent, his personality, and his bravery. He was so courageous, beautiful, amazing, and he had the most beautiful voice in the universe. He was so strong and talented.

I don't mind his sexuality at all. (He is so freaking awesome, I love him anyways <3) Actually i don't mind nobody's sexuality. That's a thing which is person born with but my opinion is that, if freddie wasn't a gay, he would be probably still alive and happily married with Mary Austin.
