It's been a while since writing my last RP, so here goes my first attempt at leading an RP in a looooong time. Hope everybody enjoys :)

First, some intro/backstory:

I was thinking of this being an apocalyptic RP featuring demons, vampires, humans, Bards, people with special abilities, faeries, giants, dwarves, gnomes, elves, etc etc. Lots of mythological people. Basically, they've all lived in secret in everyday (Current day) society, until the, let's just call it the council for now, see's the coming apocalypse is upon the earth. They contact the secret "ambassador" between "mythological" creatures and humans, whom the government has been hiding, and tell them it's beginning. The humans get pissy, demanding the "mythological" creatures save them. Of course that's not gonna happen for free.

The council and the "mythological" creatures are all very well-run and strongly governed. There aren't any wars, no rebellions, no creatures that believe the council is corrupt or doing a horrible job. No, the real enemy is going to be the humans and the earth itself. The mythological creatures are on one side, and the humans on the other.

So anyway, the humans demand the "mythological" creatures save them, and the council orders all of their kind that can walk, and are sane in mind, vote on the price. There's a giant gathering on a ginormous secret island protected by the mythological creatures for centuries. The vote comes down to, they'll save the earth for safe existence amongst humans, and cooperation towards what the mythological beings need regularly. (Certain potions, rocks, materials, blood, food, land, etc etc.)

(you know what, i think i'm gonna call mythological creatures Fabul's. I dunno, we'll address that later.)

The humans (at least the ambassador between humans and mythological creatures) decided, basically, "Uh NO the Fabul's cannot live peacefully with us, even if they've been living secretly amongst us for thousands of years and have families and jobs and lives." So the council sends 50 representatives to different countries, to give off a multination-wide broadcast/announcement to spread the word that the Fabul's will no longer be living in secret, and that they want to live in peace with other humans. They want to help protect the earth from this apocalypse, which by the way can't be prevented just hindered. They will only help the humans if they're aloud to live side-by-side peacefully.

An all-out hunt for any Fabul's begin's, many families are torn apart, many are hunted, many lives changed and riots begun. Basically 90% of the world is in total chaos because the government, shortly after this announcement from the council, did confirm that some sort of intense apocalyptic-like events were going to occur in chain reactions, causing mass-devastation and destruction.

Groups arise that want to fight the Fabul's, some want to live with them, some want to serve them, some want to join them, etc etc.

At the same time as the governments confirmation, the council announced there would be emergency actions taken to protect the Fabul species. After as many votes as possible were cast during the voting period, over the course of a month, Fabul's scattered across the world, seeking refuge on various islands, traveling to distant countries, or taking their families and hiding. Some just wanted to avoid the apocalypse all-together. Some stayed on the island for refuge, some were hired by the council to gather materials and museum artifacts from around the world to protect the Fabul species from various bouts of chaos that would ensue, some were hired by the council to infiltrate certain groups that oppose the Fabul's. Some were hired to join groups that supported the Fabul's.

Right now it's just an all-out waiting period where people are hiding, fighting, trying to escape, or just waiting. Some are still living amongst the humans in secret, too. Some are living in the forests and hunting, making camps.

Please don't assume any roles amongst the council. Let's do the intro's and get the RP started, then when I think we have some people who would be good for the role of a council member, I'll request them to. If somebody WANTS to be a council member you can go ahead and ask and I'll let you know ASAP.

NO GODMODE.

You may be a multi-hundred-year-old creature, just please no "insane flawless wise minds that are super super powerful."

You may be a human, or any kind of Fabul. If you're human you may be an enemy or you can be somebody trying to join the Fabul's, or whatever you want to do. Either way, you're aloud to be an enemy, just please be prepared for that character to die sometimes. You may kill off your characters, and you can have somebody kill off your character, just please make that clear before hand.

Limit the one-liners pls.

If you're Fabul, please clarify what kind. Demon, Vampire, faerie, etc etc. If you're a faerie you don't have to be a tiny spec of light. If you're a dwarf you don't have to be super short. Likewise, if you're a giant you can be super buff and like 7 feet tall, you just don't have to be a building on feet. You can edit you characters to your satisfaction. Remember there are also Bards or just people with special powers that they've had their whole lives. That stuff happens in this RP. It doesn't have to a total species. Whatever you want to do Just at least try to put a name to it pls :)

NO DEMI GODS. NO GODS.

Clarify as much as you're prepared to share in the intro you provide. You don't have to share their age or real name right away. Please do clarify their species though just so WE (the writers) know. You can with-hold info for the sake of the story line :)

Ella turned on the car and eased it off the dirt road onto the grass. She let the doors hang open, then hopped back out and clicked the over head lights off. "That's pretty freaking cool. Do you, like, eat anything specific or need anything special?" She looked at Adam and mumbled real quick, "we're staying here?"
Adam nodded. "For a little while. Let's let Eora do her thing. I gotta do it too later."
Ella nodded and looked back at Cale.

"Good. The farming needs to be done in waves. More and more people are entering shileen so the demand of course is rising. For now, I'll have the maids show you to your room and you may explore shileen as you wish. Rest, relax, and tomorrow we'll begin your roles."

Giving a nod, Nagi smiled. It'll be a pleasure to work here in Shileen with both yourself and the people. I will assure you that all will be tended to, both tasks and people. Though I am not particularly exhausted in any fashion, a exploration of such a place of nature would be fascinating." She stood up from her chair. "I will enjoy my stay here."

Eora's eyes opened and her connection to the bird that had allowed her to watch through it's eyes wavered before severing. It took her a second or so to regain a steady vision, and when she did, she stood up silently and looked out to the sky. There was something that indeed, pulled at her from Shileen. She would just find out what it is once they arrived.

Evangeline hesitated. This guy said they were Fabuls, sent to help her. But how did she know for a fact? What if they were lying? What if this was a trap?

Evangeline wound the window down just a crack, just low enough that her voice could escape the car. "What are you, exactly?" she questioned. Then, as an afterthought, she added, "And prove it."

Melina stood as well, then rung the small bell on her desk. A maid appeared in the doorway in seconds.
"Show her to the guest room closest to mine."
"Yes ma'm. This way please." The maid stepped into the hallway and guestured for nagi to follow.

Leeland nodded. "Of course. I'm just a simple manipulator of elements. I've been very thoroughly trained in combat however. My comrades here are all varied." He raised his hand and a minuscule candle-like flame appeared above a single finger. "Some of them are vampires, some demons, some were born from elven blood, some faerie genes. We all serve Melina of shileen though. We've been rounding up fabuls for days now and aiding them in escaping to shileen."
He held his palm flat over the ground and a rock jumped up to meet it. He cupped it gently and it disappeared into a tiny poof of dust.

Cale looked at Ella "Nope. Unlike you two who are quite attached to blood, I'm free to consume anything...just like any human." Like to prove his point, he took out a chocolate bar from his pocket and bit it. He chewed for a moment and swallowed "Oh...and I eat flames too...flames, ashes, charcoal, embers, soot and so on."

Nagi followed the maid curiously as a thought ran through her mind. These maids were somewhat similar the pets in a sense. The bell was rung, and one of them would just come in like the cousins of what, something that humans called "dogs", when their names were called. She wondered if anyone would beable to make a living and just ignore anything else that happens That would be all most impossible in her mind.

Eora looked over to Adam and stared for a short moment before she looked out into the sky again for a few seconds. As those seconds came to an end, she stepped onto the grass and quickly became adapted to it's complexion as she moved her toes around a little in the soil.

"Cool, we can consume human food, but it's a pain in the ass to come off of. After we eat it for a while we get a little too used to it. Honestly I just get irritated when I don't get my burgers or chocolates." She and Adam laughed together for a moment.
"I do love steak." Adam muttered.
"More like worship. He can't go a day without meat. I mean it is instinctual to eat meat along with blood, but still, sometimes his love for meat can get a little-"
"What? Unnatural? Like your love for soda? You're such a fucking human." Adam laughed and leaned up against the side of the car.
"Oh go fuck yourself you fucking pansie." Ella dropped into the drivers seat and laughed so hard she held her side for a second. She looked at Cale, "don't worry it's only friendly fighting. He's my brother and I love him, even if theres no way he's sensible."
"Blah blah blahddy blargh, that's all I hear from you Ella! Learn English!" They together some more then Adam quieted when he saw Eora get up.
"Hey, how's it's going? You back?" He said sweetly.

The maid led nagi through several hallways and gardens until they came to a pair of open double-doors. It's connected the garden strewn walkways to a practically Victorian-era stone hallway with paintings, carpets, and gorgeous decorations on tables with plaques under each. There were doors to rooms every couple of feet. They walked past each until they approached another pair of double doors with guards standing outside. A few more doors down and the maid stopped and opened one. "This is yours and no one else's. There's a small washroom over in the corner there. At this time we ask you keep water usage to a minimum so as to preserve it. Dinner will be served at sundown in the gardens. Other guest will be eating their meals there as well. If there's anything I can do to assist you in the future, we all have service training and sufficient medical training. If you'd like to speak with miss Terran I can relay any messages for you. My name is Linda."

Leeland pulled his hood back down to cover his face. "It will take several days to get there, and i guarantee there will others we'll need to help. My job is to protect you though, which I will do."
He spoke to his comrades. "Keep your phones on, I need two scouts. Everyone else should be contacting the others and charting their progress. You have your assigned partners. Contact them and ensure their safety and check their numbers of rescued." they opened the doors and got in.
"Go ahead. Drive straight outta the city to the woods. There are others there we'll need to help And some safe hiding spots to stay the night."

((Glad to have a new member of this RP. The more people, the better this will be. Everybody is in New York running from the riots. That's where you should start your characters. If you go to the very end of page six you'll see my approximate plans for the future of the plot. If you read this whole page (page 7) it should give you a general idea Of where everybody is at. Characters are unlimited, just none in the council please. Follow all the rules listed in the RP intro :) make sure your characters have some flaws and things that will work well with encountering challenges to overcome. Character descriptions are on page 1, they were all done correctly, and the template for hatchet descriptions is in the RP intro at the top of the page. Just follow that pls :D

Evangeline put the car back into drive and followed Leeland's instructions, heading towards the city's exit. Honestly, she was still kind of uncertain about this situation. She hadn't been having much luck with strangers as of late. First the one that realised what she was. Then the murderer who also somehow knew. Now a bunch of hooded people? Hm.

She decided to ask some questions. Maybe knowing more would put her nerves at ease. "Why do we have to stop at night? Why can't we just keep driving till we get there?"

Nagi seemed to be puzzled for a moment as she maid introduced herself as Linda. "LIn...da...." She said for a moment in thought. She placed her hand on Linda's forehead and her palm began to glow faintly with a green fuzzy light before images began to flash before both of their eyes. In Linda's vision, it would have only been a blue. For Nagi, she saw everything clearer and could keep thing such as so in her memory. When she pulled her hand away, there was a large flash, much like a much like a quicker version of a camera's flash and it was done. She gave a gentle smile. " I give you my thanks Miss Linda for showing me to my room. I am Nagi, and it is pleasant to meet you. May I go inside?"

Eora gave a nod. "Yes." She responded as she looked around once more, taking in their surroundings. She removed the bandages that Adam had put around her bullet wounds and a fresh healed area was revealed. She wrapped the bandages around her arms and hands much like gloves with exposed fingers, and inhaled softly before exhaling in the same manner. "I feel refreshed." She said as she flexed her fingers.

Age: 118
Gender: female
Species: Faerie

Appearance: Height approximately 5'0", no more, no less. She has two forms (refer to pictures) her faerie form and her human form. Her faerie form has blue hair, and black hidden highlights. And is always wearing a strapless blue dress , with black mixed in, and black/blue stiletto heels. She's also seem with pointy ears. She has large blue and black monarch wings. And she has dark blue eyes. As for her human form, she has long black hair, that has s small habit of falling into her eyes. She wears very short dresses, skirts and shirts. And she likes to show some skin (as you can probably tell.) her eyes are a greenish shade of blue. Both forms have one thing in common. She has a black and blue skull tattoo on her back. A very large one. Which she keeps hidden in her human form.

Bio: Da'Vinity is a faerie of darkness. Due to her short term memory, she doesn't remember much of her past. But she knows that her strength would be causing illusions of others' worst nightmares. But she can't do this unless she knows her 'victim's' worst nightmare. She has many weaknesses, that are unknown to her, either that, or she's just forgotten. Another strength would be hiding her fairie form, which she prefers to keep hidden, as she can still use her powers in her human form. She tries her best to keep people from finding out she's a Fabul. She knows she has a brother, but doesn't know if he's human, or a Fabul. Nor does she know his age, or if he's even alive. No matter to her, as one of her personal goals is there find him.

"It's not safe to drive at night. Plus we need to gather other fabuls who are in danger and in need of escort. The nights are getting crazier as well. Part of our training is to detect changes in the elements and air and the top layer of the earths energy. Being elemental I can feel clearly there's another shift in the earth coming up tonight. I don't know what it is yet, but I've informed Melina Terran and we've been told to gather as many fabuls as we can and protect them. With whatever is going to happen tonight, that needs to be done quicker than we originally planned. Besides, we'll be in a group soon enough. Groups should travel at night. You could lose somebody in a second. Please, do tell me miss, what's your name? Or at least the name you'd feel comfortable sharing with me?"

Linda didn't flinch while nagi performed the activity. She wasn't human and was accustomed to encountering various powers. "Of course, please make yourself comfortable."
There was a bed against the wall across the room, and 4 windows lining that wall. On the right side of the room was a small nook, a dip in the wall, about 20 feet across, with divider screens separating the nook from the rest of the room. Inside it was a small shower and drain on the floor, and a toilet and a sink out jade the dividers. Cabinets and dressers and closets lined the walls of the room. "The cabinets closest to the Washroom have towels, robes, washcloths, tissues, and the like. Father down the walls are sheets and blankets. We don't have much other than "common" clothing. A shirt and pants in all accuracy. All luxuries have been dedicated to those in need. If there's anything you need in sure we can find it though. Will there be anything ma'm?"

Adam smiled wider. "You're all healed? Good, that's good. It looks like for now we're gonna hang here and catch our breath. I've gotta do some....renovations on my...."
He guestured to his beaten broken car. He sighed. "My car...." He sighed again more frustratedly. "I think it would be best for us to rest here too. I can feel the energy of more fabuls. Somewhere out here. For now, everybody just try to relax and lemme think about How we'll get to shileen. I mean I know how, just, lemme think and make sure I'm not missing anything."
"Adam. Chill dude. Chill." Ella grinned in a playful sister way.
Adam chuckled and shot her a playful smile back. "I'm chill. I just gotta think."
"Okay. Just, think chill thoughts."
"I swear if you fucking say chill again I'm gonna tickle until you piss yourself."
She covered her mouth and laughed with him.

Da'Vinity walked down an unknown path. Really missing her wings , since she was in her human form. Where was she? Where'd she come from? Oh yeah. She was in New York. Right? She knew she was looking for someone, but who? Stopping, Da'Vinity looked around. She didn't see anyone. "Oh. Damn my short term memory! Is there anyone around here at all?!" She'd already answered her own question as she looked around. Nope! She hugged herself and continued walking. How long had she'd been walking. Couple days at least. All she needed was a nice rock to sit on, or something. Just a small rest. Even the floor seemed comfortable... "No snap out of it Da'Vinity! You can't give up!" Onward she went.

Eora looked between the two before a smile came to her face. Siblings. Oh how good they were to have. But seeing Adam and Ella brought more painful memories to surface, like how her siblings and family were gone for example. She let out a silent sigh to herself before speaking. "If we must rest ourselves here, then it will be so. We--" She paused, basically cutting herself of as she rotated her neck and a loud pop was heard. Now she felt much better. "--can head out for Shileen whenever you think the time is right."

Nagi shook her head. "I do not believe that there is anything in particular that I desire. For now, I will speak to Mother and keep trail of her words and warnings alike. Once more I thank you for your services. May Gaia be at your side as tranquility and harmony." She gave a small bow before entering her room and looking around in amazement coated in her natural curiosity. She went to the windows and looked at the scene that they revealed. She felt that she had a strong connection to this land. One that made a bond between her and the nature there. Shileen would be her new home.

Adam nodded. "Shileen is all the way down the coast in Florida. Right off Miami. My plan is that we're gonna go to a ship transporting fabuls to shileen. I don't remember the exact details but I remember afte the vote a few weeks ago, Melina Terran released emergency info that said there would be help along the coasts of America and a bunch of other countries. I KNOW there's an evacuation ship some where on the coast. With all this energy gathering I don't-"
"He meditates a lot so he's really good at sensing energy." She looked at Adam.
He had an eyebrow raised at her.
"What!? I was completing you! Don't get mad at me for interrupting when I was complimenting you!" She laughed and crossed her arms. Adam chuckled and shook his head.
"Anyway, I can feel various amounts of energy being pulled towards shileen. Maybe it's like......huh maybe it's some kind of SIGNAL or something. Maybe Melina Terran is letting off some kind of....LEAD, er, like....I dunno. It's something though. I can feel a pull. I'm really sure I know where we need to go."

Melina signed the last bit of paperwork for the day, leaned back in her chair, and sighed. She stood up slowly and went to the window behind her. "The barrier will protect us." She thought. She knew what was coming. The sky would fall this night. The storms will begin. She had been tracking the energy. Anybody who knew how to use their energy would know, at the least, that something was building. With her DNA, her power, her bloodline, her training, and her own experiences and acces to information, she knew what was going to happen soon. This time. She knew the dangers approaching. This very night, the stars would fall out of the sky. By morning, the storms would begin. She knew the barrier would hold though. She knew there were fabuls outside shileen who were fighting for their lives. She hoped they would be ok, fighting against humans and the earth.

"I agree that there is in fact an energy coming from Shileen. It is in fact, a signal. But there is also something else there that i'm not sure about." Eora spoke. "But I am afraid that we can only waste little time here." She said before pointing up to the sky. "The actions of many have angered Mother Nature. And destruction will begin soon." She said. A she had sent her one of her fast flying bird friends off on a journey to Shileen long ago, a falcon that was perched on the railing of the balcony outside where it had a keen view of the garden. She let out a sigh. But then she became unnoticeable alert as something swept passed her eye sight far back into the woods. It seemed to go back and forth extremely fast as if it were trying to get her attention all together. And though it kept it's presence very suppressed, she could still since the traces of Fabul within it. But there was something else as well....it was familiar. Familiar in a way that made her heart rate pick up slightly. She looked to Adam and Ella for a moment and spoke once more, but this time a little more distracted. "As long.....as we make it....away from here and to Shileen we will be safe and secure." She furrowed her brow. "Excuse me for a moment, but I have to do what humans call...a number 1." She walked off towards the woods, her eyes searching slowly but effectively.

Nagi now sat outside her window in a state of meditation with Nature and as she did, she was given partial sights of what was to come. She began to feel a sympathy for all that were stuck outside the barrier, even the humans in which she held nothing against. She only could hold them accountable for their actions. But even so, there was still sympathy there. But she would not question what was to come, She could only complete her task and find her other siblings. Or more likely, they'll find us.

Cale listened to all of them for a moment then looked out through the window. He furrowed his brows as he began thinking...Something he didn't do very often. They had said that they would al be safe and secure in Shileen. Was it really that simple? Did they really just need to go there and sit quietly so that everything could be fine? Cale exhaled "I don't know how to explain this...but I've got this really bad feeling. Something doesn't feel right here at all...I just know it. Something bad is about to happen." When he spoke there was an air of foreboding in his voice. His smile had vanished "I don't mean to scare you guys but I don't think everything will go as planned."

At Leeland's warning that bad times were coming, Evangeline subconsciously pressed down harder on the gas. The car, in response, gained speed. It wouldn't take too long to get out of the city now.

Evangeline hesitated at his request for her name. You could do a lot with someone's name. You could learn a lot. But that wasn't really the biggest threat right now. "I'm Evangeline." she finally introduced.

Ella gave Adam an angry look.
Adam shook his head. He walked over to her and whispered, "I know she's lying about what she's going into the woods to do. That's none of our fucking business."
"I don't fucking like it Adam. I DO NOT. Like when people LIE to me."
"She's a seperate being. We don't control her. She can do whatever she wants."

He turned to Cale when he spoke. "Dude, I promise you, NOTHING goes as planned in the apocalypse. I think the best we can do now is be cautious and just wait." He went to the passenger seat and sat down. "I've got bad feelings too. We're gonna get to shileen though. Once we're there I'm sure there'll be something we can do to help. There always is in times like this."

Da'Vinity had heard voices a bit ago. And was walking towards them. And at some point, she transformed into a black cat. She reached the people, to see two whispering to eachother. She rushed over and sat down in front of them. "Excuse me. I don't mean to interrupt, but can you maybe tell me where I am and where I'm going. I can't seem to remember." She looked down. "Oh! I'm a cat! I forgot!" She transformed into her human form on all 4's then sat on her knees. "Oh that's right. I'm looking for my brother. Have you seen him. And I'm sorry, but I don't know what he looks like." She stood up and looked around.

Leeland looked back at Evangeline. "Anyway, I'm glad you're sensible enough to go to shileen ma'm. The more fabuls in one place, the better. Unlike the chaotic violent humans we get to leave in their cities, us fabuls desimated segregation amongst our species LONG ago. In fact it barely ever seemed to exist if you ask me. This here by the way is my right hand woman Sandra. I promise full introductions will be done once we're out of the city. Keep going, we're almost to the woods. A few more minutes then I'll direct you to some off road paths for vehicles."

As Eora ventured further into the woods, just as she was making another step she halted. Her eyes darter from left to right quickly as she heard a rustle here and there. There was a slight pause before she heard the snap of a twig behind her. "Sloppy...." She muttered as she turned around, swinging a relentless punch only to have her fist connect with the thick trunk of a tree. But it was the tree that was effected the most, tipping over and mashing into another nearby tree. She narrowed her eyes sharply as she finally caught sight of the owner of the familiar fabul presence she had sensed before. She was a bit surprised to find who it was, though she didnt show it much.

"But still as swift as a fox." A woman stood a safe distance away with her arms crossed as she leaned against one of the treees. There were large patches of fur around her eyes ((like in the picture, but around both eyes)) and her eyes were that of a fox's. She smiled. "Hello to you to wifey."

"Vullian....." Eora stared at the woman for a long while. But suddenly, both of her hands clamped around the fallen tree and pulled at it and though she strained her physical abilities, she managed to pull until she was able to turn and throw it at the woman at the cost of the wellness of her right arm, sending it gliding at first until it crashed into the ground and slid towards her quickly. Her right arm fell limp as she breathing became a bit more heavy.

The woman's eyes widened and she reacted quickly by turning and ending up behind the tree before ducking down. The impact of the thrown tree caused the one she was behind to began to fall, and she moved out of the way quickly before it had a chance to crush her. As she went back to her position before the tree was knocked down, she looked at the broken branches and limbs before looking back to Eora. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!!?" she exclaimed.

"You ARE NOT suppose to be here." Meaning that after what she had seen happen to her, she wasnt even suppose to be alive. Or so Eora thought. She had seen this woman die before her eyes. She had watched it all happen over and over again in her head until she almost went into a deep depression, but was lucky enough to avoid it. She knew that there was something familiar that she felt and sensed, but she wasnt expecting this.

Evangeline continued driving, only taking her eyes off of the road for a brief moment to glance at the hooded pair in the rear-view mirror.

"Yeah, well, going back to Shileen wasn't exactly my first idea, but it kind of ended up being unavoidable. Admittedly, it was my own fault...still. How are things going over there? Still totally safe, right? Protected from anything that would cause harm by the barriers and such?"

Adam and Ella spun around and looked at the cat. Who was now a human.
They were both silent a few moments after it spoke, then suddenly Ella said,
"Awwwwww!!!! ADAM!!!!! LOOOOOK!!!! LOOK! AT! THE KITTY. AHHHH MERGOD ITS SOOO CUTE!"
"It's also a person." He muttered. He had seen these creatures before, but it still shocked him that they we're finding so many fabuls so quickly. Or maybe I shouldn't. This is an apocalypse. They were heading to shileen. Huh, maybe it's wasn't surprising. It made him wonder if he should lower the energy he was giving off, or even expand it so other fabuls can sense it and join them. In all the chaos the humans were killing each other left and right. The fabuls were trying to live their lives and escape. Fabuls don't have wars and conspiracy's. They don't doubt their government so much that they need 50 other states or a dictatorship of lack of a government or communism or whatever government humans are capable of living in. Their leader protected them from threats. Now times were changing, it had been voted on. Adam was ready. This is what had to be endured to live freely. To no longer hide themselves. Further generations would thank them maybe. They were changing the world. Melina Terran would ensure its done as safely as possible. Scary as this is, it is being done as safely as possible. What else could they expect other than to search for safety and encounter other fabuls along the way. What could they expect from humans other than "kill all fabuls."
"Ummm, I'm sorry I don't know who you're looking for. We're going to shileen if you'd like to join us? There's another member of our "group" but she's off using the restroom."

((Liquidz can you pause Eora's actions for a moment? I accidentally left sieluvzsoul one post behind. Can you please wait for them to respond to Adam and Ella and then they'll respond to the sound of trees being thrown? XD))

Leeland nodded. "Absolutely. It'll be stronger than ever with so many fables in one place. It's the safest place in the world right now. Especially for us. There's food sources and workers and jobs. The city is thriving more than ever. Lots of distractions too." His voice softened a bit. "Honestly there's a lot of anticipation in the air, like everyone's just waiting for the next catastrophe. The barrier is more visible now though. All that energy compiled so close together, that's more safe than I've seen fabuls in a long time." He smiled at Sandra and Evangeline from beneath his hood.

I'd be glad to go with you, if you don't mind having a forgetful human with you. I have very bad short term memory. But yes I'd be glad to go along." She looked around. "Um... Did either of you hear a odd sound. Almost as if foliage was being thrown to the ground. Or am I just hearing things again." She scratched the back of her head. "I wouldn't doubt it."

Evangeline nodded slowly as Leeland began speaking, gaining enthusiasm with each sentence. Okay. So it was safe. Very safe. That was good. That was crucial.

"How much farther until we're out of the city?" she questioned, somewhat anxiously. "The sooner I'm out of New York, the better."

Adam gave a puzzled look. "Yeah I did hear that. Ella stay here with her. I'll be right back."
"I'm only staying here cuz I like cats!" Ella countered as Adam ran into the tree's.
When he was out of ear-shot her attention was completely on the "cat-person."
"I'm Ella, this is Cale. We're headed off to Shileen. What's your name?"

Adam darted through the tree's at vampire speed. Faster than a human could perceive. He found Eora quickly and saw her seeming to be upset. There was somebody else there as well.
"Eora? You alright!? what's going on?"

Evangeline hesitated for a moment. This was baby 2.0. It was brand new. Was she ready to step back and let some stranger drive?

Unfortunately, there wasn't much of a choice. She was hyper aware of the fact that this was a real life situation. It could come down to her or the car. And as hard of a choice as that was to make, she valued her life just a bit more than the car.

She slowed to a stop and put the car in park. "Yeah." she agreed. "You drive. But be careful not to hurt my car if you can help it." She climbed over to the passenger's side.

"Of course." Leeland climbed into the drivers seat. He cleared his throat and glanced at Evangeline. "My apologies." He hastily reached under the seat and it moved forward closer to the steering wheel. He reached to the side of it and the back of the seat tilted back a bit. He adjusted the mirrors and the armrest and the gear they were driving in. He checked the seatbelt then placed his hands at 10 and 2 on the steering wheel.
He looked at Sandra in the rear-view mirror. "Scouts?"
"Already through. There were a few enemy casualties. Teams harvesting materials now."
"Injuries on our end?"
"None sir."
Leeland smiled for a second then pulled his hood a few inches above his eyes. "As expected. Melina Terran will be proud I hope." He looked at Evangeline. "Buckled up?" He asked. "You too back there!" He said to Sandra.

Cale had felt her presence even before she arrived. That 's why when the cat had popped out of nowhere, he was more surprised by what she was than how she had arrived there. He watched her with a raised brow from the backseat of the car.

He was about to speak when he heard a loud crash from the forest, but Adam had run off to find out so he didn't bother. He turned his attention back to the cat girl and Ella who was doing presentations.

"Catherine, is it?" She had mentioned something about having a short term "Nice meeting you Catherine. Like she said I'm Cale. Well,tell me Catherine, are you also from the city?"

"Well does that give you a reason to throw a FREAKING TREE AT ME!!?" Vullian had said before the young man had arrived. She had smelled him when he was with the other Fabuls that she had sensed. By what she could tell, there were two vampires, what smelled like a car for a few seconds, and a presence that smelled like a bird that she hadnt recognized. She had actually expected this to go a bit smoother. But when the man had arrived, her eyes narrowed a bit, but her body was casually relaxed. "I see you've made a few new friends."

Eora glanced over to Adam. "I am....fine." Despite having her right arm injured right after she had healed from a gun shot wound, she felt that she still was in prime condition. Her eyes focused back on Vullian. Her healed wings came from her back, and her nails took the same razor sharp steel cutting talon form as before. "And they are none of your concern."

Vullian stared in awe with loving eyes. "Still as beautiful as eve--WAIT WAIT WAIT!!!" She put up her hands in surrender but was too late. Eora had flapped her wings one large time, but instead of flying, she used the force to increase her speed, thus appearing in from of her with mid punch. One that connected and sent her tumbling back against the ground hard.

Eora didnt hesitate to use the force that she contained in her left hand either. She could have stopped her attack, yes, but that didnt necessarily mean that she wanted to. In fact, she didnt. She stared at Vullian and watched as she began to get to her feet.

"Damn it woman!! you hit a lot harder than before to!!" Vullian said, having to recirculate the air that been knocked out of her. "Just my luck...." She was surprised that a punch like that didnt break her face, or other wise leave her unconscious. She wiped the slight bit of blood away that trickled down her lip. "Okay then....I guess you're not giving me any other choice are you?"

Eora's body tensed for a moment but then became just as relaxed as Vullian's. She held her injured arm before forcing it back into place with a loud crunch! and a wince. She flexed her right hand afterwards. "It is you who hasnt given me a choice."

Adam let the two girls fight. As soon as the stranger stated her aggression, "No other choice", he tensed.
He could wait until Eora seemed to need help. But what the fuck did they think they were doing. They were in an apocalypse. There wasn't time for this. They couldn't waste energy on this. they had to survive. Fabul's shouldn't be fighting each other. They should be fighting fate to survive the disasters together. The idea of Fabul's turning against each other made him feel sick and angry.

After Eora spoke back to the stranger, he yelled, "NO! There IS no choice! For any of us! Don't you feel that in the air!? Don't you feel the tension and the danger!? The earth is changing! There's no fucking time for this! Fabul's shouldn't fight! What the hell are you doing, fighting each other!? There's no time for personal pasts! There's no time for fighting amongst beings that need to survive together! What ever your problem is Miss, you need to leave. Eora is coming with us and we're going to keep each other safe. You need to go on your way and leave us to survive our own paths. Please...."

Da'Vinity had to think about it. "I think so." She looked over to Cale. "Oh it's not Catherine. I'm Da'Vinity. I'm quite sure of that! But yes, I am from the city. I have no idea how long I've been traveling. But my legs are so very sore. And the heels broke off of my shoes. Which is even sadder. Because I've had to walk barefoot for who knows how many days, maybe even weeks." She sighed. "But judging by the way you worded that sentence, I'm guessing you're all from the city as well?"

Eora glanced back at Adam, "You shall take that advise as you are Adam. It's either be torn apart here or leave while you still have everything you love and hold dear with you. Just now, you said that we are going to keep each other safe. If that is the case, then keep moving forward. Don't you ever dare to look at me as someone that you have to idle a hand of assistance out to. This is far more than personal and past. We Therians have our ways of handling and understanding one another. In addition to that, I will say this only once. You will never allow yourself to speak to me in a manner as if I were human. That lack of respect could cost you your life as well as all that you are fighting for." Though her expression was as calm as ever, her eyes contained a spark of a growing aggression as she turned to look back to Vullian. Their eyes met almost instantly.

"Couldnt have said it better myself." Vullian commented with a sly grin. "After all, we all have things that not even the apocalypse can make us throw aside am I right?" She crouched down low, just as a predator would when it stalked its prey. The palms of her hands were placed flat onto the ground, and her fox ears were laying only slightly flat.

Adam's eyes turned red as if a switch had been flipped. "Fine. You bitches wanna fuck, then fuck." He flew back through the trees to the car. "Get in." He snapped.
"Why? Where's Eora?" Ella asked.
"Fuck Eora. You." He pointed to the cat. Da'vinity. "Are you coming to shileen? It's a safe haven for fabuls to survive the apocalypse. It has an impenetrable barrier that's stood for centuries. Melina Terran, the leader and protector of fabuls, has sworn to oversee the safety of all fabuls, so we're going to shileen and you can come if you're respectful to the fact that all we want to do is survive. Got it? And you!" He looked at Cale. "You got it too? Cuz we're leaving again right the fuck now. So you in or no?"

Leeland smiled at her and nodded in return. Within seconds they were taking off down the street. Suddenly all the people were within feet of the car. Leeland didn't waste time with the horn. He hit dozens of people wielding weapons. At the same time he made and incredible effort to drive as many gaps between the people as possible. He was clearly trying to avoid hitting people, but that seemed inevitable. The riot was thick. There was fire in random places. Burned boxes on the street. Burning bottles, buildings, cars.
From the backseat, Sandra was muttering something. Every time an item or human would come close, she would focus her sight on them and an invisible force would push them back just enough to avoid breaking something on the car or being hit so hard they were thrown into the air. Nobody was struck so hard they went over the roof of the car. Try as they might, none of the rioters could hit the car with their weapons.
"A little more Sandra, we're almost through." Leeland muttered, almost inaudible.

Evangeline gripped the door handle tightly as they began speeding up. She got road rage too, on occasion, but this was ridiculous. They were tearing down the street, and ploughing through the occasional crowd. Oddly enough, though, no one seemed to be able to damage her car. She heard Sandra murmuring in the back seat.

She looked over at Leeland, now seriously freaked out. "How is that happening? What's she doing?"
