My aunt is from Italy and she says my DARLING i love you like this:

tesoro mio ti amo

Here it is:

Hahah, imagine saying this after you're actually being asked if you love someone. Good for a 10-seconds laugh.

I've read the other answers as well. I guess they sound romantic, but there's so much cursing. I guess it's called 'Chuck Norris' or 'Duke Nukem' romance. Most Americans say 'I love you', REAL Americans say 'Fuck off'.
