Time travel?

If you could travel back in time, where and what year would you travel to? Just to witness the interesting dance and music (...and dresses ofcourse) I'ld like to take a peek into 60's :D And where, umm, I guess LA :D

Time travel would be great as long as the mechism you were using could also translate. I would love to see how the pyramids were built. Or to sit in the crowd and listen to Jesus speak. How about being there when the first Roman discovered the use of the arch. There would be so many things I would want to see that I don't know if I would live long enough to see them all. How about sitting on a hill watching a herd of dinosours grazing. Or to see my great, great grandparents.
One other thing I would want, is the ability to see, hear and smell the past, without actually affecting it. Wouldn't want to create a paradox where I killed off my family line and never existed. Then I couldn't answer this question. Books and theories of how things happen are good, but I do not believe they are always accurate. That's all for now, maybe I'll add more last month. :)
