Is it possible to do curls without heat?

lol well idk if this would work but im black with real short hair and i do braids like lil wayne and sometimes i get curls at the end and its fake hair so idk if it would work with your real hair.....ok you know how you can use curlers? well you you would put those on whererever you would want the curls and then you would get like REALLY REALLY REALLY HOT WATER IN A CUP OR SUMTHN and then dip the hair with the curler on it into the water and leave the air in the water for like 15 min and when you take it off you should have a curl.....try it cuz that what they do on me...haha if it works send me a private message and you can say that you know how to do one thing the black way lol:)
